WDW 1day/1night next week, suggestions???

Hi Everyone,

Hope you can help me out here, fairly quick.
First off, I'm New to the Boards

I'm going down to Florida Next Week with my Brother. We have relatives who just bought a house about 2 hrs from Disney, and we are planning on Renting a Car and Driving up to Orlando on Tuesday, January 11, and returning on Wednesday, January 12.

Now I've been to WDW once every year for the past four years, but all have been for a week, never for just a day/night combo, so I'm not really sure as to where we should spend most of our time at.

Also, Since we are renting a Car which Resort do you think we should stay at? I'm planning on trying to get to definetely MK and hopefully MGM. Is it easier to leave the Car at the resort once it's there and then just take the Bus or Monorail?

We plan on leaving Venice FL around 8:30am, and probably Leaving Disney around 1130am on Wednesday.

Welcome to the DIS. I would leave the car and use Disney transportation. I think that actually saves a little time.
