WDTC Reservation System still down

Did anyone else wait on hold for ever only to be told that the system was down?(count me in that queue )
Of course I just called back and got through immediately which should have been my first clue that the system was still not up.. ah well perhaps later.

yes. i had a 3 minutes wait time. that should have been a clue! LOL

They are back up and running again (but hold times are quite long.)

I called at 6pm est, had a hold time of 8 minutes, system is fully operational.

No luck on AAA rate though so nothing booked...for nov '05

On September 26th at about 9:30pm, I found rooms available for my dates online at disneyworld.com, but I prefer to speak to an actual person, so I called to make my ressies. In the middle of the agent helping me, she said she recieved a memo telling them to no longer book ressies. She said that it was because of all the backlog of cancellations and rescheduling. She said I could leave my name and number and an agent would call me back within in the week!!
While I was on the phone with her, I booked my ressies online.
I then gave her the confirmation code to confirm it.

SIDENOTE
Although disney told me no rooms were available for those dates, the website offered those dates. It seems as if the website is more updated.
The agent said they update their computers at midnight.
She said to call at 7am to have the most accurate room availability.

I had the same thing at Disney Dining. I really feel for them to have the hurricane(s) issues etc. but, dang why does it have to hit at the same time I am trying to figure out if the Thanksgiving dinner at O'hana is a different menu than the rest of the year?

Hmmmm maybe Charley, Frances and Jeanne should have been made aware of your Thanksgiving menu troubles, then they might have just stayed away.
