The last (and only) time we tried WCC we had a 5:00 seating and were completely disappointed. The restaurant was less than half full the entire time we were there, and the servers were not zany at all. The Dkids want to try again, so I've made an ADR for 5:50 - hoping that we'll get to experience the antics and still have the energy to appreciate them. Those of you who had a great dinner experience there, what time did you go?

Our last dinner there was at 5:00 p.m. We had to wait for the restaurant to open.

If you want a really funny time, ask for Bobby (or B.J.) (same person). I can almost guarantee you will have a night of hilarity, no matter how many people are there.

What?! Tell me that's not true. According to PassPorter WCC is open from 7:30am-10:00pm. I was kinda planning to have an early dinner there at around 4/4:30 the night of MVMCP. What's this you say about waiting for them to OPEN at 5:00? When's the earliest dinner ADR you can make there?

When we had the 5:00 seating, we also had to wait for the restaurant to open. IIRC, they are open for lunch until 3:00, then reopen for dinner.

I have usually gone around 6:30 or 7:00 and it has been pretty busy with lots of noise.

Hi Suzannews
Do you still work at WCC? IF you do or don't would you know if a burger is allowed for dinner on the dining plan as a entree?
Thanks

Yes, I still work at WCC. Yes, you can get a burger for dinner (it's not on the menu) and it will count as your entree on the dining plan.

What time of year were you there? We went at 5 (waited for it to open) for MY son's 8th birthday Sept.2005, and it was packed! They ran out of hobby horses for the races, and it was loud and fun. Maybe a little too much fun for the birthday boy - he was sooo embarassed when the waiter had ALL the girls in the restaurant come over and sing Happy Birthday to him! But he asked to go back next time, so it must not have been too torturous! ;)

Try it again - it's a fun place to be!

We were there the last week of August - beginning of a slower time, I know. The kids have said ever since then that they wanted to give WCC another chance, and I was the one all disgruntled over it, but I hope for DS's sake that we luck out this time. I plan to have him wear the birthday button at any rate; hopefully it will help us experience more of the hilarity.

We usually eat at 5 when possible and haven't had any problems getting the servers to do their antics.
