hmmmm
we used to love spoodles (considered it the absolute best in all of WDW), but were seriously disappointed when we first tried the new menu. a lot of ppl are saying it's great lately, so we might give it another try (we do miss going there <sigh>). as mrs ron said, there is quite a bit to do on the BW: hair braiding, magician/sword-eater, ice cream shop, yummy bakery, surry bikes, arcade games (basketball, lobster pot, & water gun ~ they do cost, tho you can win a "prize"), etc. you can also see parts of illuminations from the bridge to EPCOT, and/or sit outside big river grill (directly on BW) for a few drinks & people watch. (fyi, we normally stay at the BWVs b/c there is so much to do & see ~ it's our favorite resort in all of wdw

)
WPC has excellent food, but the atmosphere is nothing special. however, DTD & PI are there with many shops & clubs. no charge to just walk in either area, but there is an admission charge for the clubs.
haven't been to biergarten, but have heard great things about it (especially the entertainment).
personally, we never cared for WCC (food is not to our liking).
maybe ask everyone what they think about the menus, just to narrow it down, then look at the "entertainment" on allears.net.
