Hello!!
I am so excited that my husband and I will be staying at the Wilderness Lodge for the first time in November for 3 nights :).....WCC breakfast looks pretty yummy, but I am wondering, do you think it is neccasary for an ADR to be made, or could we do a walk up?
Thanks!!

When in doubt, always make an ADR. The worst thing that can happen is your plans change.

And in that scenario thirty seconds with your friend Mr. cellphone fixes that.

And given my experience, never assume that just because a meal is a breakfast (even an early one) at a resort restaurant that there won't be a wait for those without ressies. I made that dumb mistake at Spoodles on a day in February back in 2008. Showed up at 7:45 without an ADR and had to wait almost 45 minutes to be seated. No, the place wasn't packed or even that busy. Problem was they were working with a handful of (sloooow-moving) servers and could only handle a small number of seatings at a time.

Sure, it's possible you could walk up & be seated without an adr, but there is no guarantee. I would always suggest making an adr if there is a particular place you want to eat at, otherwise there is a great risk of you being turned away or having to wait.

When in Disney and you know you want to eat some where I say
BOOK IT :thumbsup2

Yah I agree..this will be our 5th trip in 3 years to a Disney Resort so I definitely know the importance of ADRs!!! Just didn't really want to have to pin a morning down to eat there if we didn't have to...since we will only be there for 3 nights..but perhaps i will make one for the last morning anyway, to be safe :)
thanks!

We decided to do breakfast on a Sunday at WCC when we stayed at WL. We went down to the concierge on Thurs. and she was able to get us a reservation - but we didn't have much choice on time (and this was not a busy time at WDW - the two weeks before Thanksgiving week) - luckily we like to eat at a late brunch time on Sundays.
