I am thinking of trying WCC for my next visit to WDW. My kids (2 boys) will be 9 and 11 years old. I heard that they have stick pony races for the kids and other fun activities. Will my kids be too old to participate? Are the kids who usually do these fun activities very little kids or do you see kids of all ages joining in?

TIA,

Loralie

We have seen teenagers and young adults doing the pony ride. Your kids definately won't be too old. For some of the other activities, the adults like to participate as much as the kids and will get harassed for it as well.

I think it depends on the kids for the pony ride. My dd9 did it, dd11 thought it was fun to watch her. I would probably go there without kids, as DH and I are big kids ourselves. [picturing DH on stick pony] Our kids loved WCC and wanted to eat there for every meal after that!

My DD 10 loves these kind of silly things. I think the kids are more willing to do it at Disney because nobody knows them and they end up having fun!

We just got back and WCC was one of the highlights of my family's trip! My DS 10 participated in the pony ride and got a wooden nickel as a prize. He has it in his bedroom on his nightstand. Very fun! My DS and DD (5) also participated in the hokey pokey at one point, too. A really great time!

Thanks to everyone for the quick response. I loved the video and can't wait to try WCC on my next trip.
