I haven't gone back and read the last few pages, but just wanted to put in my 2 cents for the 9 day Alaska, IF it becomes a reality. But I'll go with whatever cruise the most people can do/want to do.

If there is a 9 day alaska, I will be on it.

Tyler's dad is going to be so mad about me bringing him to this Home Alone class. He argued with me recently about how he feels Tyler is way to young to be home alone, and I disagree, blah blah blah, but since this class is taught by the sheriff's department and is for kids 10 and up, obviously the sheriffs department feels a 10 year old can be home alone for a bit. I leave him home when I go grocery shopping, but that's it so far. He's been asking to stay home the next snow day to sleep and play video games. LOL! So this class is preparing him for that. Too bad the only snow day so far this winter happened while he was at his dad's, because I would have let him stay home for a trial run.

Now just because he's taking a class on it... doesn't mean that right away he's going to be ready to do it on his own...

you can start out with an hour - run to the store, etc.

I took the Red Cross babysitting course at 11 and didn't start babysitting right away... but I still remembered what to do...

Let Tyler earn his independence... that way he knows he's accomplished something

I've been leaving him alone for short times, an hour or so. Kids his age started staying home alone last summer vacation. He's mature enough to be fine. We have rules listed and phone numbers listed, he's fine.

I believe Magic will staying at Med 2014 but just find out that Magic is not doing Dover to Barcelona..

Alaska - sound great but Ian want treat me for 25th Wedding Anniversary.

As I want go to Las Vegas to see Donny & Marie, I know again!!

Last Friday, it was best night, As my friend treated me overnight hotel with bottle of champagne. We had the bottle of champagne... then we went to see Donny & Marie show and Donny's Staff took us to backstage to met Donny. My friend and I were godsmacking and Donny came downstairs and talked with sign laugagues ASL because he have two deaf brothers also nephew too. Donny's staff tooked the photo too.

Oh wow, I was cloud9 on Saturday and still cant believe how we were so lucky!!

Holly - let Tyler know that I think I'm growing too (haha--not likely). I'm SO tired! All I want to do is sleep. I know that for me it's partly the hormones going haywire, but if I could sleep all day, I would.

I thought about running away to the west coast of Fl this weekend, but I'll have to see how things feel when I wake up on Saturday. Part of me wants to spend the weekend in bed (even though it will be alone )

Hey, maybe I should pretend we're packing up the house to move. Maybe that will help me declutter.

I started getting sick a little with chills and an upset tummy. So today I will take off completely. I need to build up some energy again. When I start running low, I get sick.

Holly, that's an excellent way to look at it and then go from one room to the next, one item at a time. Ask yourself if you would take it with you to move into a new place. You might throw at lot of stuff out that way.
