We are having a frost tonight...I hear... took the basil in.

Yeah, it's freaking cold here too. We had our first frost last night. I was SOOOOOOO cold. When I was a kid, my mom would not turn the furnace on until November 1, no matter what. And then she always kept it at 60F. BRRRRRR! Of course, I shouldn't complain about her because I just looked and it's 59 in my house right now. Comfy with slippers and a bathrobe though.

Obama was here in Lansing today! Quite a few of the lawyers from work went to hear him speak. The news said 20,000 people showed up, but traffic sure didn't seem any different when I went out for lunch right near where he was.

So Tyler's stepmom missed work today to stay home with him. His dad told me he switched to the Adderal today, so we'll see how that goes when he's back in school. His dad told me today in an email that he hopes to get this "figured out soon". I nicely let him know it's not that easy and that even the psych told us it will take lots of trial and error to figure out the right treatment, and then whenever he grows, we'll have to re-adjust. Apparently his dad missed that part of the conversation.

Had a wonderful dinner w/ John & Deb last night at Mimi's.

I have the Mediteranian Chicken Fettucini (or something like that). Pasta w/ artichoke hearts w/ a tomato asiago cheese sauce. YUMMY. It's supposed to come w/ sundried tomatoes but I didn't get those. I have some left over for lunch - plus some of the brown bread (WHICH I LOVE!)

Here's hoping for safe travels to those driving today.

Can't wait to see the pics--can't see them here at work, and didn't get on last night....will have to do it tonight.

I'm still refusing to turn the heat on here I want summer back! However, I'm heading to bed shortly and will be under umpteen blankets I'm pretty sure I'll be turning the heat on when I get home from work tomorrow.It's already down to 63% Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

I skipped Survivor and watched a couple dumb shows instead, not even sure what they were because I was only 1/2 watching, 1/2 playing monopoly. Watching the debate right now. Then headed to bed.

UGH! Tonight I went to the parents meeting for CYO basketball. They scheduled the 5th grade girls to practice at the same time as Faith Formation! Thats ridiculous. The coach said they'll try to change it but otherwise tay can't play. Along with a bunch of other girls at that time. Keep your fingers crossed!
