Dentist appt down, Dr's appt down, Dinner still to come.

Have to go in and get 5 hrs worth of work done at the dentist (ugh). Scheduled for the 7th of October (luckily I already had that day off). It would have been in more than 1 appt but am looking at sedation (as the dentist scares me) so they can do it all at 1 time.

Med check at the drs--looking good. I finally started about 2 days ago to really feel a difference. Not so angry or teary and I don't feel all this "pressure" on me. Staying on this combo of meds until I go back to see him in November & we'll go from there.

Looking really forward to dinner tonight. The food & the company.

Well that is positive and good news Monica. Great that you can actually say you are looking forward to dinner tonight , the food and company.(Rather than wanting to throw the food over the company!:lmao: )

Not good news however about the dentist! I hate going too so I feel for you. At least you are having some sedation.

Here's a thought that I just heard on the news.....If McCain gets elected......then the secret service people will have to accompany Todd Palin on the Northern run of the Iditarod race in Alaska every year because that's where he races snow machines.

I bet the secret service votes for Obama!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Are you kidding me, I had a cousin that worked on the Bush SS detail, he would have loved to go on a snow mobile and get paid for it :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Much better duty than running along side a car, dontchathink? :confused3

Let me see if I am working or not...if not, I'm up for it :thumbsup2 I'll let you know soon.

I may hve found an in family fix, as my nephew, his wife and baby are coming too! The wife and baby can't spa so perhaps they will hang with Wilson. But asside from that I need to see you!!! Let's tawk as it gets closer and make a date :lovestruc

Well, I read and copied, then when I was replying my computer started hanging, so I had to close down and now all the quotes have gone!!!! I'm not reading through again.:lmao:

Had a few laughs. ( butt, Michelle.........etc!!!:rotfl2: )

Why thank you Marilyn...

Good Morning MaDerbilyn

just tryiing to be fair

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Sukie realized yesterday that he was a year younger than he thought he was. He thought he turned 58, he actually turned 57.

So, it was a very happy birthday for him.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I can't believe you guys and numbers... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

& hunting and moose stew too...

I remember talking about forgetting how old we are. I often mentally 'take on' my new age a few months before it actually arrives...then when my birthday comes, I think I'm even a year older! :rotfl2: And it shouldn't be that hard for me to remember since the last digit of the calander year, and the last digit of my age are THE SAME for most of the year! :sad2: When asked my age, I've been know to answer "I don't know, what year is this?":lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I do that... I call myself the older age... it drives everyone nuts... including me!!! :rotfl: (but for some reason... 45 is bothering me so I think I'll go backwards... )

I fell asleep too and woke up at 12:30 and couldn't get back to sleep until 4:00  No I'm sick and I have to start work today. I think it's all your fault Bubba since you were sick at the party :rolleyes1

No... Bubba left early too... just me for a while.. I started playing solitaire and then went back and watched Tv... very boring without you guys...

When do you start work.

He waited up for you and when he came to bed I asked if you came back, he said no, so I told him maybe Jon had to put you to bed.......................if you know what I mean;)

Did he tell you I said Hi??? :yay:

sorry about the dentist, I've put off a gum surgery for 3 years now because I hate the dentist. I'm afraid I'm made the situtation worse too :scared1: Glad about the meds kicking in, good you waited and hopefully it will roll better as time goes on :thumbsup2

Hi Michelle :flower3:

How old are you now Ian? I'll be 52 in two months.

We're very close to the same ages.

Can relate well!!!!

Hi everyone,

I thought I would post something about the stock market and bank scare. As most of you know, I am a geeky accounting nerd. And to make it even worse, I am a former savings and loan bank examiner. I thought I would ring in with my two cents, which, by the way, it exactly what my opinion is officially worth. LOL.

Anyway, with respect to the banks, and the threat of possible failures, as long as you have your accounts structured in such a way that all deposits are FDIC insured, I would not spend anytime worrying. I know that some of the "talking heads" on the financial channels are chicken little and scaring everybody that the sky is falling, but that is their job, to make people tune in and fear will get people watching everytime!

As for the stock market, it is a long term investment. If you are invested in good mutual funds, and plan to stick it out for the long term, then you will come out of this just fine. It is the people who panic and sell out when the market is low that are really hurt in this market. As a matter of fact, I haven't changed my position and I am still putting the same amount in my mutual fund invested 401K as I always have. I like to think that the stock market is marked down or on clearance and I am getting the shares really cheap right now.

I know this sounds really positive and optimistic but I remember all the financial downturns that we have had in the past and how we rebounded and all was well again after a time. I think all will be well again.

Tammy

:cool1: THANKS Tammy! :thumbsup2
Makes sense!

good morning

I am tired and went back to bed after the kids left for school.

about photos, I got some back from Nero which I made the movies and Nero keep it my files. But some I have not start to make the movies all gone.

I start put back with memory cards but still not the same.

I realised I lost Donny Osmond's photos then I remember that I put some in Photobucket. I looked at Photobucket that the slide photos are there.

I remember I gave my another camera to Olivia which are the Memory Card inside of Donny Osmond :rotfl: I asked her where is it? she cannot remember where to put it. Somewhere in the house ::yes::

I lost Ian 40th photos, family photos:rolleyes1 , my friend's 40th last Xmas which I promised her to make movies.

Oh well from now I have to copy it on cd when new photos come in.

I have all photos back which I made slide photos which I put in trip report.

I was working 8 half hours last night as someone want swap with me so I get Friday off:yay:

Scottishwee35
 Deborah, I'm sorry you lost so many photos, but am glad you were able to get some back. Your story has scared me enough that I'm writing on my to-do list to go buy some disks or memory stick or something to put all my photos on tomorrow. Especially with all the trouble I have with my computer not working most of the time.

Glad you get Friday off! :woohoo:
