They stopped teaching the art of bow tie fastening a few years before John started school!!
When he was 'Father of the Bride/Groom' 3 times they had cravats and the last time he had a problem with that!!!
I thought it was all part of a proper British education. Things seem to have gotten (that's an archaic English Elizabethian form of the verb "get" for our friends across the Atlantic that has fallen out of use in Great Britain, but was preserved in the American colonies, along with other Elizabethan words such as "Fall," for autumn and "Mad" for angry) slap-dash over there.
During our little shopping trip yesterday, we bought of all things the complete BBC series "The Duchess of Duke Street." I'm not sure I'd ever seen it. We watched 2 episodes last night. I really like it.
