Gaylean, I don't have champagne, but I've got rum and I'm wearing a pink Minnie/Tink shirt!:thumbsup2 Enjoy your champagne!

Holly - great pics of the airshow! Makes me miss the ones I went to as a kid and young adult.:sad2:

Jan - you are always on the go! Good thing you got that Raspberry :thumbsup2

John - sounds like a busy but great day in DC :)

I'm enjoying myself right now - I took over Ken's chair and his laptop while he was reading to the girls. :lmao:

Thanks for all the good thoughts are our entrance. A one day event ended up taking 3 weekends  But we did more than originally planned. Hopefully the kitchen will only take 3 weekends too.:)

I like rum too. I'm not too sure how this all started but any excuse to drink champagne is good with me ;) I really can't find my camera and now I'm wondering if we left it at Bubba and V's :confused3

The poor Chinese man who pulled his Achilles tendon or something in warmup for the 110m hurdles heat #1. I think its so sad when any athlete gets injured and has to drop out of their event, but its particularly sad for when it happens in your own country.

I don't have to worry about it, I've never been an athlete and I don't think I ever will be. :lmao: :lmao:

Me either but can you imagine training for something your entire life and then having it all end :scared1: Jon was a really good basketball player but hurt his ankle so bad that he couldn't play that much. I felt bad for him and he wasn't even in the Olympics.

Was it you, Holly and Deb that started planning this one during Fridays chat session? :confused3 Nan was drinking rum on here earlier, but now its all quiet. I'm hot and sleepy, hoping the coke will perk me up for a bit.;)

Was that in college or high school? Were you guys high school sweethearts?

No we were college sweet hearts but it wasn't in college that he hurt himself. He still played but hurt himself every time. He still tries to play now. I feel sorry for him because apparently when you stop playing basketball 8 hours a day, you gain weight :confused3

What a sweetie - even after I've stolen your chair and laptop and you have to go online with the old desktop computer. I'll thank you again later ;)

I'll take a roast beef on squaw ;)

Isn't that strange :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I was just reading a description of the pentathlon event - I'd never heard of that one. Shooting, fencing, swimming, horseback riding and running - I think that would be neat to watch.

Dis is slow so I'm browsing the CBC olympic site - its well done. Has a page for each different sport, with explanations of what they are. I'm a nerd at heart!:thumbsup2

We thought so. It seemed alright for both of us and then we started eating burritos instead of sandwiches and it all went down hill! :lmao: :lmao:

I wish we had a good burrito place here - there's a good one in Prince George where Ken works, and he loves to rub it in when he goes there for lunch. :(

Goodnight Gaylean - I've got to call it a night so I can be all perky for work tomorrow (YUCK!)

Holly, love those airplanes pics. I've been missing flying these days. I think as the kids get older I'm reliving my old life...man when Molly hits those teen years watch out!!!!

I was off talking with Paul and my friend Patty for a while, and now while I'd love to stay and chat I'm tired so calling it a night. Check ya tomorrow.:woohoo:

I'm here... going to sleep and probably poke in before the storm comes to visit florida... and college classes for fall start on thursday.

LOOK: They've left a light on....waiting for us to come to Disneyland!
