Paul and Wilson just had an interesting encounter with Buddy Lazier http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buddy_Lazier Famous Indy car racer. His son is invovled in go-karting.

Seems that my boys will be very happy thru out this whole event. I'm glad we decided to come. Paul and I were talking about work being slow and we toyed with not coming but we decided that Wilson had been working very hard for this so we opted to cast fate to the winds and hope that we will both come home to more work.

Wow, a little race track fame there.

Haven't forgotten you all! First thing I thought of when I heard about the earthquake was all of the Cali WBPC cruisers. Glad everyone is safe and that it wasn't any worse than it was!

Oh I loved Acapulco... I think it all depended on what you did there...

Hi Michelle! The picture came through. I did what you said and was so proud of myself. I even managed to find it in my photos which I have never used. However it came out really tiny just like the picture you sent me. Somehow I managed to enlarge it but it is on my computer sideways. If I could tip my computer on its side I would be able to enjoy it!

Oh, OK. I'm surprised they could see the characters from the pier.

I remember that and it was very emotional for me. I was talking with a kids club cast member whose family was visiting that day and he was telling me that this is the closest that these kids will ever get to the "real" characters. It's hard for me to believe that they'll never go to disneyland. It made me appreciate all of the things I was able to do as a child and the special trips that I can take my daughter on. I was a big blubbering baby that day just watching those kids. The saddest part is that the characters couldn't leave the ship because it would cause a riot with the kids at the pier. Thats unbeliveable to me!

It was really cool to see it... also in Panama... To think that all of a sudden... Mickey Mouse was right in front of you... it's amazing what we take for granted...

I didn't hate it like Gaylean though. It felt seedy and run down - not the locals' fault, just the end of a great era I think. The vendors were a big pain, though of course their livelyhood is going too as tourists stay away. I felt it was sad.
