Finally feeling better----voice is about 98%, but that hasn't stopped me from talking

SO glad today is Friday. I made an offer to Will & Mickey this morning, but am still waiting to hear back. Offer is for me to show up at their house about 8am to start the pork in the crockpot (Mickey wants me to show him how I do my pulled pork). We would then go to a landscape place in Lake Alfred to see a man about some mulch. Pool day would follow w/ movies/games thrown in. Pork would be done about 730p-8p so there's dinner. I think they should take me up on it, don't you?? hehehe

Boss's wife brought in a whole bunch of peonies for everybody on Thursday, so I brought mine home for the weekend (since they'll probably be dead by Monday) and the house smells so good now because of them! Only problem is the cat has been trying to eat them about every 5 seconds. It's a constant battle with the squirt bottle trying to keep him away. He'll jump down but then is back eating them 5 seconds later. Forgot to hide them when we went to bed last night and woke up to the vase tipped over, flowers everywhere, and all the water SOAKED into my wood floor. Dang cat. So now the vase is back up with the flowers but without water in it. I'll probably have to throw them out tonight.

Wore Tyler out today already, so he's taking a 2 hour nap before his party. Fine with me because I'd rather not have a crabby kid at the party! Can't wait to see his cake! His 2 friends who come home with us after school every day, their grandma is making the cake. All I know is that Chuck E. Cheese is popping up out of the cake. Sounds pretty cool! She's delivering it to Chuck E Cheese so she can assemble it there. Can't wait!

For those not on FB...

I've been following the shuttle on it's way from Kennedy Space Center to Johnson Space Center - they towed it around by barge... It has arrived in Houston (my sister went to see it...it's at the Hilton over by Galveston Bay...) It will be towed over to Johnson Space Center tomorrow morning on a flat bed...)

Now we have to go shopping for twin birthday presents for a party tomorrow. Boys turning 3, 1 loves Mickey, 1 loves Cars, so it should be pretty easy. But first letting Tyler finish a level of a game he downloaded to his iPod using one of his iTunes cards he just got today as gifts.

Then some leftover cake when we get back home before bed.

Hope everybody's having a nice weekend! I'm exhausted. I'd love to go to bed NOW, but can't because I have a load of laundry washing. Tyler had no homework all week, and none over the weekend, so we've been doing lots of playing and fun stuff. Fun but tiring!
