I think I am just about done with the office/scrap room. I need to change the light bulb and set up the computer stuff as it comes in, but I think I'm done

I need to cart in my ladder to try to do the light bulb....that is, after I first go buy new light bulbs The one in there is too soft.

The guest bedroom is another story.....no, it's really not THAT bad, but there is still a bunch of crap in there. I need to go through that stuff & decide what I need to/want to keep vs what gets chucked.

I'll be on the look out for a good futon, or bed w/ a trundle, but not too worried about getting it yet.

Just talked to Dad....he's off to the airport in about 1 1/2 hrs to head back to Buenos Aires.

This was probably 1 of the best visits I've had with him. He's happy to head back home....it's not exactly quiet & relaxing at my sister's house.

I hear that they will make anyone arriving early stay outside or in the garage area until their check in time.

I imagine they are having a tough time getting everyone in and out with the bigger size of the new ships.

Anything with an expiration date of 2009 or earlier.. chuck it... I cleaned out my bathroom that way...

Nope, I didn't get to do that yet. At least I have some on my phone and John has his and I can copy from all of the Thieves.

Tom and his friend are coming over this weekend. Tom said his friend is a computer wizzard. I'll let him look at it and see what he can do. Maybe I'll get lucky.

Oh very cool. I was considering Sept because I'll just be getting off the Hawaiian in May. It would be hard to go in July. Did you have a specific time in mind? We are planning to go North. Some of them go South. Which one did you want to do? I hope we can work it out and go together. It's more fun that way.

There's one leaving on the 2nd of Sept and the 7th and 12th. I would prefer the 2nd or the 7th....because John would have to take the least amount of days off of work. The 2nd leaves on a Sat, the 7th on a Thurs and the 12th on a Tues.

Do any of these dates work for you? How about the destination?

Good idea Michelle, but that's not it. A couple of weeks ago I was on the phone all day with a Dell expert. He took over my machine and told me that my Outlook Mail was corrupt. So I bought $400 worth of upgrades and anti virus programs and a new battery. I thought it was fixed. But then I started getting error messages that said my memory was too full. Now it won't even turn on.

Shannon---I love Curves. I used to work out there, and then ended up actually working there (when I lived in Maryland). Does your place have the Zumba workout? I'm curious to know what that means.

They had Curves in the spring, but it ended the week before I started. They are planning to bring it back again for one evening a week, and I have no idea what they actually do for Zumba.

So....what do you have planned for this weekend??

I have a 3 day weekend banana: ) - I plan to take care my weeds , trim the bushes & who knows what else.

Depending on what I get done this week, I'll of course need to finish off the new office space.

The weekend starts tomorrow after work. CFL football season starts tomorrow with the BC Lions playing. Friday is Canada Day and will likely be spent relaxing at home. If the weather is nice we'll head down to the park where they have multi-cultural celebration (food booths from a bunch of nationalities & various dance groups on the stage). Saturday I'm taking Shaelyn to our old town for a visit with her friend, and hopefully I'll spend the afternoon visiting with my friend. Sunday may be kayaking or it'll be housework/gardening and then back to work on Monday.

Monica and Shannon, Zumba is exercising with latin dance movements to latin upbeat music. It's more fun than just exercising. I have looked into it. It's something I want to try doing. Just google it and you'll see it.

Tom called yesterday. He'll be moving back in with us soon. His roommate is moving back home with his parents. I think it will be fine this time. I could use the help decluttering this house. I'll keep Tom busy when he's not working. I think it will be good for him and us.

Hi Deb - I know what Zumba is...I have the DVDs. Really curious how Curves is combining that with their normal circuit (which takes only a 1/2 hr).
