Someone on FB today asked if people are deaf... what language do they think in?

I told him the same language you learned to read...

am I right?

yes, same language...

for sign - different language - ASL used one hand...

BSL used two hands...

sometime I understand to read the English but sometime long words can be difficult for me to understand...

sometime people change to easy English for deaf people to read it...

this has been a very much hit your head on the wall type of day. Some of my co-workers are really trully (in other words, CLUELESS!)

I remember Deborah talking about this before our Panama Canal cruise and I didn't know that either. I recently told this to a former co-worker who is learning ASL in college and she didn't know either. She thought it was interesting to know and now she's interested in learning both.

I had to put 2 extra blankets on my bed last night. It was COLD! Still cold today, but I much prefer this to the almost 90F predicted by Monday. Yuck.

Well... now WE'RE under a tornado watch... soon to be a warning I have heard.... Very hot and muggy out there. I'm skipping my walking until later. (If it doesn't get stormed out...)

I had wanted to go and get some flowers today, but mom has her singing group and I have to wait for her to get home.

I've been there in August MANY times. I used to fly home with the kids after they spent most of the summer with me. (aunt day care... )

It's hot and very muggy.. you go from store to store and you basically stay inside.

I have a dress already. Sleeveless... will bring a shawl for me if I needed it!!

I watched Amercian Idol Top 2 last night and 3 songs each was good..

but I cried that Laruen's last song about "Like Mother my does"... Oh it was so beautiful song....

Shame that she didn't win as FB announcement that Scotty won

As in UK there will be showing on tv Final tonight ... now FB spoilt it

I wish James won and Lauren too as she is young only 16 years old with beautiful song... she have far ahead...

I look forward to watch it tonight...
