Last year, Deborah's card arrived late because of postage... it was quite a pleasant surprise in March!

Lots of game playing on these lazy days off together this week. . Played Disney DVD Bingo, Rock 'em Sock 'em Robots, Carnival games on the Wii, and lots more. Went to the Michigan History Museum today, and are headed to Chicago tomorrow for an overnight after my mom leaves us. She's coming to town for lunch tomorrow to discuss booking the Alaska cruise with us. She wants me to find airfare for her and transportation to & from the ship/airport. I assume DCL will have transportation available from the Vancouver airport, but I believe it costs much less to fly into Sea-Tac, but then she'll probably have a bigger expense getting to port. Anyway, we'll discuss tomorrow over lunch. Tyler is so excited she's coming!

Speaking of Mums, Holly glad to hear your mom is considering Alaska, we must have made a good impression on her at Thanksgiving!

I paid of Alaska today! YEAH! and ouch! Now I have to look up which flight Cheri booked to come home and hope the rate hasn't gone up...

I booked and paid for the shuttle for the Cruise to Nowhere with Nobody in particular

I converted my few unused Shell points to RCI for 2011...more options there. At some point will look to see Anaheim options.

It was a productive lunch hour...though I ended up working till 7:15 since I TOOK a lunch hour.

Speaking of Mums, Holly glad to hear your mom is considering Alaska, we must have made a good impression on her at Thanksgiving!

Yes Jackie, she really enjoyed every single person there at Thanksgiving. You all must have slipped something in her wine because for her to want to do a Disney cruise is major! I wasn't kidding when I called her "The Anti-Disney", LOL! She used to roll her eyes and groan at any mention of anything Disney.

Well... the QM finished up her 7th Drs. appt in about 2 weeks. Today was a opthomolgist plastic surgeon to see if the skin cancer she has on her eye lid can be removed. We have to go back in 2 weeks for a biopsy and then she will probably have to go back to the Dr. who did her other skin cancer to have it removed... followed by the plastic surgery. I've still suggested a brow lift...

It's great that nothing serious is showing up for mom.....but it's not cool to hear about the skin cancer on her eye lid. How aweful. She has our total concern and blessings for a positive outcome.

Jackie.....doesn't it feel good to know that you're paid so you're definitely going? Me and John found out that it was due one month earlier than we had thought.....so we questioned cancelling. We then checked that our friends were still going....because that's why we booked int he first place. Everyone said they knew it was due Jan 3rd. So we decided to juggle some things around and came up with the money. Now that we have, we know that we are definitely going. I still can't believe it.

Now she knows the secret....besides it being Disney....it's the people that we are with that makes all the difference. For the past few cruises that we did....there were no thieves onboard with us and it wasn't as much fun. We kept looking for all of you and you just weren't there. It's so much better with all of you to share it with.

Tyler & I are driving each other a bit crazy at times, especially because I like to sleep in and that just irritates the heck out of him and makes him crabby, but no major blow-ups so far. Overall, we're having a good time together.

She's relieved to know that if she needs to have it done, that she can have it at her Dr. that did the other one.

I hope it all goes well for your mom. John has to have a small basal cell carcinoma removed when we get back from our vacation. It is on his ear, and not dangerous, just could get yucky and bigger. He isn't looking forward to the op and having a bite taken out of his ear though!!!
