Somebody told me today that there is actually a symbol for an 80th wedding anniversary. After Silver, Pearl, Ruby, Golden, Diamond and Platinum comes OAK!!!! At least the presents get cheaper.Perhaps the happy couple would get a coffin as a gift!!

Such a great story!
Well John and me celebrated together yesterday. We went to the Sands Casino and then the fireworks in Bethlehem. We did not enjoy the casino. I like the Taj in Atlantic City or the Luxor in Vegas so much more. We're not big gamblers, but on the rare occasion that we find ourselves in a casino, we like to play the slot machines. Yesterday we decided that we like the older machines better....the ones where you physically put the quarters in. These new high tech machines are not fun. It was also very crowded and we usually try to avoid crowds.
The fireworks were beautiful. We had no problem finding a prime spot and it wasn't crowded. We just parked and took our chairs out and put them next to our car.....no walking involved. I even had a Mr. Softee ice cream soda and was still within my points for the day. The fireworks went off at 9:15pm directly in front of us and even some were close to right overhead. In fact we left after one mushroomed all around us and the patch of grass we were sitting on with some others. The wind carried them a little too closely in our direction last night. But the sky was lit up and they were beautiful.
We had a whole day of sun!!! Yesterday was beautiful. High 70s low 80s....no humidity.....slightly cool breeze. Nice!
Today is nice too, but I'm exhausted and aching everywhere. We chose to stay in. This is why I don't get out much. Without steroids, it's painful and exhausting. With steroids on vacations, I feel like a million bucks....no pain, lots of energy....but I can only do them once or twice a year. I'm no superstar, I listen to my doctor and follow instructions when administered perscription drugs. I can't believe that hollywood does not. So many stars have died from perscription drugs....from Elvis and Marilyn to Anna Nicole, her son and Heath Ledger....now Michael. It's very sad.
So I'm resting today....but I did have a fun day yesterday.
Well that stinks.
I've got to get that taken care of because now I have lots from our current trip to Tennessee. 
Ian tells me it's much easier with the software that's on the Mac, so I'll use that instead. I think it will be more reliable than Photobucket -- I seem to have lots of problems with them lately.

I'm looking forward to getting home and using Tyler's computer for putting our Florida vacation pics & video clips into a slide show or something. Photobucket is making me really crabby. I had one done up through day 4, and now it's gone! No way am I doing that all over again, so I'll be headed to the Mac for rescue shortly after we get home!

\Ken, I'm about to go back and search the old thread for a sign you made for me (green Mickey head that says DIScruiser and you added my username and a bouncing Tigger). I had written down the thread # and page # and can't find the stupid piece of paper. Thought I'd check with you first in case you still had it stored and could just repost it for me. Peg got her's printed right away, but I didn't. Just realized I might have an old PM asking for Peg's, that will at least have a date on it so I know where to start looking.
