Some positive thoughts please. My mom was just rushed to the hospital by ambulance. Dont know whats up yet but she was in serious pain. She had her gallbladder removed a couple of weeks ago and it didnt go to well. So its something related to that. She just had her follow up with her doc on friday and expressed her concern that she still had bad pain. She was supposed to get her blood work results tomorrow. This is not good!:sad2:

BIG prayers and LOTS of pixie dust to you, your family and especially to your mom. Please let us know right away how she is doing when you find out. You're all in our thoughts!

I had a decent weekend....

Sat - started out scrapbooking, then went to Paradiso 37 with Will (good but expensive) then we went to see the sneak preview of "The Proposal" - the new Sandra Bullock movie....VERY FUNNY!!
Got home about 1030pm and as some of you know struggled to stay up to do Palo/shorex stuff for the Sept cruise (only able to do dinner but will keep trying). Then ended up watching the Food Network Challenge show (Disney Celebration Cakes) until 2am.

Sun - woke up about 11am - did some :laundy:, played :surfweb:, watched the :happytv:, read and did nothing else - didn't feel 100% (not sure if it was cuz of the wacky schedule from the night before or the 2 caipirinhas that I had at the restaurant ;))

Now to get through this short week - I'm only working 4 days as Friday I fly to MD to help celebrate my boy's 13th bday  I'll be back on Sunday.

It sounds perfect.....what a great weekend. The next one will be great too since you're going for Ian's birthday.....a teen now.....awesome.

How is your Dad doing? Any update? Are we still waiting for parts?

And Shannon, FYI seeing as how you seem to be on here more than working ....

Shaelyn walked to school by herself this morning.

Well sort of...

Kaleigh and I walked her to school then just as we did our goodbye hugs, she turns and remembers that she had forgotten her glasses at home. So we turned around and ALL walked home again so she could get her glasses.

Then I asked her if she wanted to try walking to school by herself and she said she did. So Kaleigh and I stood at the end of the driveway and watched her walk by herself.

Yeah she probably could have done it a lot sooner, but it got me off my butt in the mornings.

WHAT??????!?!?!?!!!??

She hasn't posted any pics??? I've put them up on our dropshots webpage and I have had a few on my facebook page.

I can't believe she has been slacking so much!!!

50 lashes! Or maybe for the repo cruise in 2011 I'll leave her at home and just the girls and I will go!

Anyhow Deb, simply because you asked (and I find it hard to believe that youwould have to ask if I have any pics of my niece, you do know who you are talking to, right?) here are a few pics.

The day after Emily was born:

Wow, that's a big step.....they're growing up!

Holly, you and Tyler have a safe trip getting back home today. What an awesome vacation you have had.:goodvibes

Ken - thanks for posting the pics & stories - so good to see you stopping by again.

Deb - today is a holiday in Argentina so hopefully we'll hear about the part tomorrow.

Bubba, sorry I didn't see this last night. My prayers are with you. I hope your mom has been cared for by the doctor and is feeling better today

oh geez just realized I was looking back on page 152 of this thread. I'm quite impressed that it is already up to 179.

I'll go skimming backwards now and make more inconsequential comments on stuff that is weeks old ....

Who are you? :confused3

Ohhh don't kiss up to him... he dropped us cause we're "unlucky" on this thread... :rotfl:

Thanks Monica.....I'm keeping positive thoughts for you and Dad and family at this time.

Only the one you've been pining after for 179 pages now ... ;)

I said nothing about you (royal "you" here) being unlucky, just the thread # itself. I don't do 13's.

Heck I even skipped my 13th birthday and went straight to being 14. Wait til the girls turn 13 - Shannon is in for a shock...

Ken, was it you who put the names and characters on this cruise magnet?

I also have a larger one copied for the door.

Well, if it was you, could you do one with John on it and Grumpy please?

Thanks.

I have the blank one if you need it too.

I'm thinking about my door now for the Sept cruise.

Thank you all for your prayers and Pixie Dust. Mom is still in the hospital and the doctors are baffled by her pain. They don't know what is causing it. They have done blood work and an MRI and are kind of doing this...:confused3. But she is staying in the hospital as they can manage the pain better the if she were at home.
