HI Holly, Hi Michelle. I am going to take a nap now. Going to the movies later on to see Angels and Demons, Gotta rest up for that!

Back from my WW job. I was shocked that attendance was pretty high today. I thought it would be dead, I had 22, 31 and 34 members. I even had 7 new people register today!

Now I have to go back to Costco to buy what I forgot to get yesterday. I hate when I do that!

OK....

One year ago today...
they threw us all off the Magic...:sad::sad::sad::sad:

(was it something we did????)

:rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1:rolleyes1

See, you didn't need the 50 cents for Dianne showing up. :lmao:

Could you come down and do my grocery shopping too?

.

I see you're back to your old selves again and talking a lot. I would never do that to you.

This is my life right now.....my daughter is on the phone and has been for an hour, my son is on the Wii and has been for 3 hours and my husband is on the phone working (well head hunting). I thought I had a few years until this happened. I guess not.

what's up with jon head hunting????? I have that Wii boy but thankfully molly isn't on the phone, she gets the calls, but never wants to stay on the call. she tells me she just doesn't have anything to talk about. lucky me. oh and we have a couple of phone lines, thankfully from my business so I always have a phone ;)

So, our Ken has a birthday?

copied cuz there are cute and I can :thumbsup2:lmao:

Is it me or did everyone take the day off???

I TOLD YOU WE WENT RACING....the results we're great.

short story, we rented a kart (cuz we didn't want to trailer ours) bad call. the kart sucked, spent all day trying to find the power and Willie won 3 out of 4 but was lapped twice. the other driver quit for unknown reasons, we think he was upset he wasn't winning. so it speaks volumes for willie still racing when he was lapped and so far down to stick with it. the 3rd place driver just pulled out and left in lap 6, so strange.

we had a good day dispite the bad kart, and learned alot. loved the track pictures later today (if I get motivated).

lots of driving for Paul, I think he put on almost 700+ miles in 2 days.

OH Yeah! we had an interesting time last year trying to bring all our stuff home from California without airline penalties....we squeeked through.......

us too, we opted to drive home to avoid the plane ride, if only I had known, I'd have shopped for more

Do you have Costco down there in the desert? The reason I ask is because I saw they have cases of Skinny Cows at the one I just came back from.

No Skinny Cows for me, but I did buy 4 cases of Progresso Light Soup.

(Well, you could have fooled me, carrying the 4 cases didn't feel so light)

Kudos to Will.

And that Paul is a saint.

I'd go for a case of the soup. And I'd worry about having a case of Skinny Cows in the freezer...with that many I'd be afraid I'd start eating them two at a time. I'm better off just having my six-pack last a week. And on the seventh day, I go to McDonalds for a cone.

I think myCostco membership needs to be renewed, but Peg has an active one I'm sure.

Is she attending Ian's class again? And one other question where was Suki going with that outfit? I'm just curious and need to know exactly how brave he is... Love the boots - the pink bullet belt - OH MY when I saw that I thought I would wet myself.

I do *(courtesy of my pal Dave) and I'll pick up skinny cows for you anytime you'd like. or soup...or books, or whatever...

Hi Friends....Happy Birthday wishes going out to Lisa and Ken and Cheri. Those hot sultry summer nights produced a lot of May babies! I hope each of you continues to celebrate all month!

So don't cha know....as soon as John put the steak on the barbe....the heavens opened up and it looks like waterworld out there. Fortunately we have a covered front porch.

Thanks to the other Lisa for keeping you all updated on how my week was going. It truely was a week from hell and although I'm doing so much better, I'm not completely out of the woods yet.

Monday afternoon without any warning I started shaking uncontrollably....it was as if I had frostbite....I was frozen to the core and just could not get warmed up. From there I started loosing my cookies. I had a severe stomach flu. My entire body ached horribly. This lasted until Thursday morning when I finally started seeing some improvement. Then I began a diet of clear broth, jello and saltines. John said that in the 19 years that we have been together, he has never seen me this sick before. I had it bad.

I thought I would still be able to make it to the beach this weekend. As my stomach was getting stonger....I developed many fever sores on my lips and a burning feeling on my right leg. Then the leg went beat red and swelled up. Then the muscle pain began and I couldn't put any weight on the leg. By Friday I was on crutches and could not sit up. All I could do was lie flat on my left side and then alternating to my right side. I took some muscle relaxers and began to monitor carefully.

I could not get to a doctor.....I couldn't drive and John was at work. As it was I had to cancel all of Ray's treatments that he was supposed to have this week. There was just no way possible to get it done. I finally started showing some improvement Friday night. I thought the worst was over. Then Sat morning John and I were sitting around having coffee and the leg blew up like a big balloon. I had to lie down again immediately and started using my compression boot. It's a sleve that goes over the leg and has different chambers of air that inflates and deflates to push the fluid out of the leg and back up into the body. Well the compression on the painful leg really does not feel good....but it's a necessary evil because it is working. I'm still on crutches and muscle relaxers and I'm timing how long I sit up for and know that I have to keep it short.

What a week. So we never were able to get to the beach and I lost 75,000 unused priority club points. I missed the ocean and I missed seeing Lisa. I just have to take it one day at a time this next week coming up and hope that it continues to improve.

Din Din is ready....it's my first real meal in almost a week. So much for WW this week. I did weigh in on Friday and didn't expect to see any real results because I'm retaining so much fluid in my really blown up leg....but I was 5 lbs down for the week anyway. It's not a real number coz it came from not eating. :confused3

Deb, what a terrible week. I had a bad week, but nothing like yours.

I have had you in my prayers and you will stay there.

I hope you feel better very soon!

You really are ready for something good to happen Deb. What a horrible week. Glad the tummy bug settled, but the leg sounds bad. Go to the doctors if it continues, please.
