Hey, I would love to go to drive in movies as there is none in UK :: because we have very stupid weather here...

So have a fun to watch Star Trek and yes it would be nice to share an ocean with you both...

I never forget that John drove a lovely car last year and Ian shouted about bike... at fishlip...

John loves driving convertibles.....we did have such a good time at Fishlips all together.

Ken's home tonight so he gets to put the kids to bed and deal with their lunches tomorrow

Yes, I did tell John that you're pulling for him. So many thanks. Initially it was hard to hear, but now it's just a matter of getting on with life and whatever comes our way we will deal with at that time. For today, we're great!

For all of you online WW online guys, I can't say much, but there will be some cool stuff coming that I think all of you who enjoy online communities will like very much.

Yup I will do that. I just planned it out and I should be at my desired end goal weight in about 18 months....just in time for my 55th birthday. I already planned my end goal treat. I wanted to eat at Tavern on the Green in Central Park and see a show and stay overnight in a nice hotel in NYC for my 50th birthday. I never got to do it because we were at yet another hospital with my mother. I have decided that I'll do it when I turn 55 and have reached my end weight goal. It will be so much more special then.

Well we are moving today to a villa. I think you call them vacation homes.

Looking forward to having more space and a pool, but will miss all the opportunities for walking around the spaces at the resorts here. I have really enjoyed both SSR and BCV. We have had great rooms.

Negatives have been onsite dining. The food was mainly ok, but service has been nothing special, so really making it all a negative experience. Best place for us was Le Chefs de France. Our 3rd meal there, and we have had consistently great service and food. We had the feeling the servers were just doing their jobs, often sounding like they were reeling off learned spiel. We wonder if they are feeling disenchanted with things at the moment. We were always friendly, helpful and pleasant(and tipped), so I hope we helped their days go better. We cancelled 3 bookings we had as we were a little fed up.

The park toilets were not cleaned as often either. I had read this before we left home, but didn't believe it until I saw it for myself. Poor cost cutting measure there I think.

Other than that we met some great CM's. Go have a cappuccino at the Writer's Stop in DHS. Great place, and we always had some great chats and laughs there with the CM's. Try their carrot cake cookie - yummy, and enough for 3 people.rolleyes1)

I hadn't noticed the condition of the bathrooms in the parks.

On the coffee and cake front, I told Sukie that I was really surprised that there were not more dessert places around the world, particularly at DTD. You know, basically a really good pastry shop, where you can go for a good coffee and some very good pastry.

There's lots of ice cream, but sometimes, I just wanted to sit outdoors with some coffee and cake.

I just looked at the long term forecast and so far so good for BB Delaware.

I think we are going to be there Thursday Friday and Sat. We have to go home on Sunday.....as Daniel will be leaving for France.

What day we go will depend on the weather.....

I will be happy to meet you just about any place. Where are you staying?

Well if you're there on Sat then we'll do lunch at your favorite eating spot in town. I'll PM you my cell phone number again. I hope the weather holds out and stays nice all weekend.

We're staying at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites on the Boardwalk and 17th St. in Ocean City. We'll be in Bethany Beach checking out the local shops.

I hope we get to visit with you before Daniel takes off. That's going to be so exciting for him. How long will he be staying in France? I bet he'll have some great stories when he gets home.

Deb, I am not happy about John's job. That just S*cks. The worry is always there till this passes.

I hear ya....but we can only hope for the best....and believe that everything works out in the end.

With my company merging with Staples....I have watched so many of my friends lose their jobs....and I ask myself, why not me? Yesterday, I got my contract from Staples and my offer letter. I was surprised at how generous it was. So I guess they want to keep me.

They love you Lisa, just like we do.

In Sept last year, I knew about 100 who lost their jobs. Then each week it was a few here and a few there. The last 3 weeks have been terrible....

40-60 people each week for the last 3 weeks.

I really can relate and feel so aweful for all those people. I'll keep them in my thoughts and prayers.

I wonder how I have not driven myself crazy....just decided that it was in God's hands and all I could do was the best job I could do.

Exactly....that's the only way to look at it and keep on doing your best.

Next week I'll break the 10lbs mark and be even happier. I'm going in the right direction and I'm doing it healthy. That's got to be good.

John already got the day approved to take a vacation day today so he'll be taking Ray and I'll stay home and pay bills. Tonight we'll go out to eat at Olive Garden and then onto Becky's to watch Star Trek. I'm excited. It's a great reward for doing well. I'll even watch my points at Olive Garden. I may use some weekly points for the first time.

You've tried the pastry shop in France, right? Other than that place & Ghiradelli's (and maybe Main Street Bakery) I don't recall any places that would fit the bill.

Well done! As I tell people, all I had to do was lose 3 pounds and then repeat it 23 times.

You're so right Nan....but chances are very slim that he'll be hired to work in his field at another job right now. He's near 60, he's an electrician and the construction industry has bottomed out, he would never be physically able to work in the field again...he needs another desk job and he'll never earn the money that he's making now and get the benefits. He would be starting over. He's been on this job for 17 years and he's 58 years old. It's a perfect fit between him and the University. He might have to wait it out until he can be hired back. Fortunately, he's in charge of fire alarm systems on campus...including a hospital. As long as they keep it inhouse....they really don't have anyone else who knows the systems like he does. If they contract the work out....he could be a goner. We'll have to wait and see.
