We're days away from getting our project to go through... We've been working on this for almost 4 years and we did get caught up in all the banking crap in the fall... BUT... it's supposed to go through really soon and I'm sitting here on pins and needles...

Please say a prayer because it's a really good project (we're bringing water into the SW of the US...) and we really need to get this thing moving...

Well, I get to leave work in 35 minutes and go meet friends for an after work drink. I just know the energizer bunny lawyer will come out of his office about 20 minutes before I leave with a big pile for me to hurry up and get done.

Our office manager just told me that words have been said about my tattoo and that since my annual review is coming up, I should consider keeping it covered until after my review. I said, "So....it took them 4 years to notice it?" And I politely refused because I'm not going to go buy shirts with longer sleeves to cover something I've never had to cover before. I told her that if it comes up as an issue on my review, I'll protest it because tattoos are just a part of today's society. TWO other secretaries have tattoos, one has THREE tattoos that are visible every day. It's just the way things are in today's world.

Thanks Monica. I think that is similar to the Celebrity one I looked at earlier in the week. Much better prices. That will be 3 ships leaving the UK on the same day for the same destinations. I would scream when I saw the Magic though.

To be honest, I am going off cruising to the Baltic. After a cool week last week on vacation I really want heat. I also have decided I don't want anything so port intensive. Plus I will be saving for the 2011 Panama Canal cruise with Michelle!!

And Planky... and Mom... and anyone else we can talk into it... (like that will be hard...)

I'd never get one either that's in a spot where it's covered up because to me, the whole point of one is to be able to see it....sort of like an accessory. I've had the one on my arm for 8 1/2 years and the one on my ankle 5 1/2 years, so I had them long before ever working at my current job and I never made any effort to cover them, mainly because I rarely wear shirts with sleeves long enough to cover the one on my arm. And in the summer I wear capri pants and sandals all summer, so the one on my ankle shows at work all summer long. I just can't believe nobody mentioned it when I first started working there. Good grief!

I'm happy it's a weekend. John worked last weekend so it'll be good to have him home this one. We don't have any special plans.....just running errands and John will cook corned beef and cabbage for St. Partick's Day on Tuesday. Maybe I'll find more pictures to post.
