Nice trip report Monica. I really want to go to Rome and the Vatican and over to Pompeii as well. That just helped whet my appetite. We've been to Milano (hated it) and Venezia (absolutely loved and want to go back), but that is it.

Hmmm maybe I should cancel next week's trip to DL and save the money for a trip to Europe again ...

Thanks Ken - it started out for my mom, so that she would "feel" like she was a part of the trip. She was trying to not have back surgery and was going through PT and thought it would be better if she didn't go.

I love Europe

BTW - you could always do the EB TA in 2010 (great rates) & see Spain

I loved Venice too - and that's saying alot for 1 of the most romantic places in the world...when you've been there with your DAD!! I spent time with him in 1994 in Italy, Austria, Leitchenstein & Switzerland.

Busy day... I finally got GE to call me back (you would think it would be easy since they are right here in Schenectady... I thought I'd have to go stand outside their offices with signs telling them to call me back...) and I got the info I need... 300 milllion gallons per day clean...

Other than that... I'm hungry... I always seem to want a cheeseburger on Fridays in Lent... But every nun I ever had told me I'd burn in you know where...
