Waaaaahhhh!!!  There's no way I can make the 21st. Is anything happening earlier in the week? (I'm about 70 pages behind). I could maybe come over then...

Not that we can go to. That darn work thang again! I'm not sure to tell you the truth. Who the heck can keep up with Gayleans planning?

Cheri, our plans are to be arriving the evening of the 15th and taking off on the 22nd. We will be there all week. We do have plans to go to SeaWorld on the 18th or sometime around that for the one day. Otherwise we are in DL the entire time.

Hi Deb! How are your legs doing? Like I said, I'm way behind. Maybe tomorrow I can catch up...

funny Pooh story.

After Wilson was born, 6 weeks old, we travelled by car to my parents, Northern CA for Easter, then up to Portland to see friends, then up to Seattle to see more friends. (that was the setup)

Being that we had a newborn we had been trying to get Molly potty trained to make it a one diaper household.

It was a long driving trip and Molly had been a great trooper, with the potty training while travelling, so in Seattle in a toy store we let her pick out a friend, Winnie the Pooh.

We were in the bathroom latter that evening and oops....Pooh fell in the poo....

can you picture it????

(he didn't really fall in the poo, just the toilet, which was a fresh bowl of water, but it was really funny)

I'm not sure where Winnie ended up. Neither of the kids have him anymore. They have mickey and minnie and piglet but not Pooh.

I'll remind Molly of that story tomorrow I'm sure she will giggle over it. Pooh in the poo.:upsidedow

No time to finish catching up, super busy at work, but as I was looking for info on Gretchen, an e-mail from Tyler's dad popped up and I just have to share. I haven't checked it out myself yet, so I hope it's easily found. Off to check now, but here's his e-mail:

Tyler’s photo made it onto LSJ.com (www.lansingstatejournal.com) for his participation in the “Block Kids” program this past Saturday. The LSJ home page has his photo on it and if you click on it brings up 10 photos of the event. He is also on photo two, and is seated in the 3rd row back from the front.

Tyler was given 100 Legos and was told to build something construction related within 45 minutes. There were three class prizes for the school grades 1 & 2, 3 & 4, and 5 & 6 and 1st – 3rd place prizes, and the judges based their decision on the actual project and the child’s description of what it was they build and how it was used. Tyler built an army jail with a door made from a rock that swung from a string. Although he did not win any of the class or grand prizes, he had a great time and received door prizes. The judges spent quit a bit of time with him as he described what he built and how it was used. I think they were pretty impressed with him.

Pretty Cool!

Chuck

Look at Tyler.....a star in the local paper.....so cool.:groom:

Hi cheri :wave2:

nite michelle :flower3:

hi marilyn :wave2:

nite bubba :flower3:

Deb, John cancelled the trip as the first flight they could have changed him to would be 7am tomorrow, and it is going to be worse by then. There is one tomorrow evening, but he wouldn't have time to get everything done on the Wednesday morning befoe coming home!!!

He doesn't mind too much, but of course there are missed business opportunities.

When one door closes, another opens.....hopefully this will happen for John. I always think it's best not to travel when there are problems with storms and delays. No sense in getting stuck or taking the chance. Better to have John home with you knowing that he's safe.:flower3:

When we went WDW in October 2006 Kaleigh was a real Pooh nut. We let her pick a hat to buy and after we got off the Pooh ride in Fantasyland she picked:

Yep you guessed it, a Pooh hat.

She still wears the hat to this day so it was well worth the money. But every once in awhile (and almost every other CM on that trip) a CM would say "Do you know you have Pooh (poo) on your head?"

Kaleigh, not getting the joke would smile happily or respond with "Yep Winnie the Pooh".
