WBC visit

In June we're going to be staying at WH, but for 2012 we are looking at booking at WBC. Is it possible to go and visit WBC or is it gated? I mean, can we actually park our car and walk around looking at the pools and maybe inside the buildings? So far there are no benefits over WH staying at WBC because we would still need to drive to the parks, etc, but our whole group (3 families) would like to see how WBC stacks up given the good reviews on here. Thanks!

The Resort is gated, but you could probably get thru the gate since sometimes they leave the gates up, and if it's down you could talk to the guard and explain you just wanted to see the resort and they may let your thru.

the worst that could happen is they'll tell you know and have you turn around.


As for looking around the resort and in the buildings, you could probably see the lobby, the resort grounds, and the activity center, but you would not be able to get inside the actual towers since they require a room key to enter.



If you REALLY wanted a tour, you could always sign up for the sales tour and get shown the grounds and inside several units... and even get a "free gift" for your troubles... but considering the amount of time they take, the high pressure sales tricks, and the lies they will sometimes tell you to try and get a sale, I'm not sure if i'd really recommend it.
