WBC v Rental House

I have a large immediate family (currently 8 kids) and our past trips have included renting houses in Terra Verde or Emerald Island. I'm interested in the resort-type places like Wyndham Bonnet Creek. What do you that have done both see as the pros and cons between these two?

I like parking right outside of the house, but I think I'd also like onsite restaurants and other resort-type amenities.

Anyone have opinions one way or the other?

We just did an 8 bedroom in champions gate. Way more room than emerald or Windsor houses we have done before. We had 15 full time at the house and up to 25 for a cookout and never felt crowded. We have also done a 4 bedroom presidential at WBC but with only 10 people and a max of 15. We enjoyed WBC too. Lots to do at WBC but way more room (obviously) at the champions gate house. Champions gate also has a very nice club and different pools and a nice kids area. We don't do Disney but champions gate is close. WBC is closer of course.
We had 8 kids and 7 adults at CG.
