Of course, start packing! :cool1:

Get a journal ready to bring to write notes about information of just about trip memories!

Pack up all the DVDs or books for the trip. :happytv:

Buy some Mickey Ears, and think about the fun that is about to happen. :Pinkbounc

Make a Packing list. :rotfl:

Let's keep this thing goin'! Just keep adding on what you wuold think you would need to get ready for a WDW trip.

Read all three of your tour guides over again to make the time go by faster!!

Obsess over your ADR's by checking menus..incase you feel the need to book another!

:earsboy: WELCOME to the DIS ~*~Mickey_Ears~*~ and Eventer98 :earsboy:

Read the DIS for hours at a time!!! :teeth:

I'm already addicted!! I find myself reading the same thoughts/opinions over and over again and can't pull myself away. DFiance always asks what I am doing and I just tell him he doesn't want to know. Then he knows for sure what I'm up to! :rotfl:

1. Go to the DIS Photography Board and pick some unusual places/angles you want to photograph too!

2. If you are a scrapbook person, preplan a few pages to jumpstart your trip album.

3. Make a countdown chart for the family with something that can be crossed off or taken down each day.

4. Have a Disney video/Dvd night once a week complete with popcorn in a Disney themed bowl etc. Or view the WDW planning DVDs cheering for the resorts you've stayed in etc.

5. Play Disney CDs in your car.

6. Visit your local Disney store if you have one and buy an item under $5 that you save for the trip as a present to yourself or someone else.

7. Depending on how close your trip is, put a box in each person's room where you toss needed trip items in (summer clothing for a fall/winter trip, extra small toothpaste tubes, etc.)

8. Have each person going write a "MUST DO" list with the top 5 rides/shows etc. he/she wants to do on the trip; this could follow the videos etc.

9. Don't forget that change jar! Add to it!

We still have 9 weeks to go but this is what I have been doing.

Reading several disney related message boards several times a day :surfweb:

Each Saturday when I go to the store I buy something we will need for the trip (toothpaste, shampoo, film, etc) so I won't have to get it all at once. Then I throw it in a bag so it is all together.

Stocking up on stuff for my scrapbook so I can start just as soon as we get home.

Watch Disney DVD's and the planning DVD over and over. :happytv:

Check our flights daily for changes....and there have been several.

Daydream all day at work trying to imagine our trip to WDW

We had some friends over for dinner the other night and played Disney Trivial Pursuit. I've also gone through my photo album from last year about 30 times.

I download Deb's restaurants/menus and Steves Soares park schedules to my PDA the night before I am leaving, good for spur of the moment reviews while at the World. :cool1: :surfweb:

Check the rental car site one more time to see if a price drop. Sometimes there is. :moped:

my planning and preparing includes buying all new clothes for both of us, waiting for the exchange rate to ge to as close to $1.80 dollars to the £1 and booking adrs and of course thinking of what I can buy while away

We actually wear our Mickey ears while watching old Mickey Mouse Club episodes. DS5 loves Cubby!

Oh, and visit the Budget Board to get the freebies for my trip. I have free samples of shampoo, deodorant, laundry detergent, toothpaste, etc. coming every week for my next trip which is next summer.

I know my DH thinks I've lost it but I bought a CD with Zydeco music on it that reminds me of the music they play at POFQ (our favorite resort see signature)!!! I like to get in the swing of things early too.

Oh, and we've been watching the top 7 countdown (the one that's shown at the resorts) since our TIVO snagged it on a product watch.

I have three more tips:
- Know that you will not be able to do everything.
- Schedule a rest day.
- Take extra money to buy everything you forgot at home!

-Listen to WDW music on Live365 & in my car
-Make out my calender with ADRs & EMH times
-Watch my WDW related shows I taped off the Travel Channel while doing my chores, exercise whatever
-Play the "Disney Savings Game" to see how much extra money for my trip I can come up with

Buy some Disney Dollars

Print out and go over the Ultimate Packing List/double check suitcase

Do last load of laundry

Get my Mousekeeping envelopes ready

Head to the bank a week before leaving for some cash/spending money

Buy some chewing candy/gum for plane ride

Buy a couple of magazines for plane ride

Watch videos/listen to CDs from disney

1. Live on the DIS boards.
2. Print out Mousekeeping envelopes, fill them and put them in each of the daily pockets of my Passporter.
3. Update my Passporter with all of my ADR info, as well as all of my travel info.
4. Watch videos from previous trips.
5. Go through packing list and make sure I have everything.
6. Watch my countdown clock tick away!
