Some lady called into Foxnews saying that she was still at her home with her dog Dusty and I guess wanted to get out. I guess they got word to Geraldo and he had a boat just go pick her up and they should be at the convention center in enough time to get her on one of the last choppers out. \

I heard her report! She made me smile! Dusty is her geriatric dog who has hung in there with her through all this. She said she still had canned food and was just waiting for help. She sounded so calm and wonderful, considering what she'd gone through. Fox had her at 82 but she said was 71. God bless her!

Geraldo has much more credibility with me now as a Fox reporter than he ever did as a talk show host. He's much better suited for reporting (albeit a bit dramatic).

I was listening to that lady earlier as she talked on the phone. How cool they found her!! Did they televise it?

Something similar happened the other night. A lady (77) called Bill O'Reilly and said that she and her mother were trapped in their home on the second floor. The mother was 99 years old. Bill O'Reilly told her they would get them out. He kept on it until they were rescued.

on nola.com there is a whole list of people requesting help to get out mostly elderly family members that are still feared trapped? Does anyone know if they are trying to evacuate these people from individual homes or not? I keep trying to read the requests, but end up crying.

Personally I can't STAND Geraldo, I normally think he is a big idiot jerk too, but what great news he got Florita and her dog aw: out! -- I hear alot of the reporters there have been helping out. I've mostly been watching Anderson Cooper, I think he's gonna need a break soon though, he's been there since the very beginning.
