Well, it's not really a styling question but I don't know what to call it and I am desperate for help!!
In January I discovered a sticky/tack spot of hair in my top layer. (My hair is shoulder length with a few layers). It was only on the bottom few inches of my 6 inch layer--the top is fine. I thought I had gotten pine sap on it from collecting pine cones so I washed and even tried "Goo Gone" for a few days. No changed. I tried many different clarifying shampoos, etc but my hair would still be tacky. It isn't so bad once it is dry, but when it is damp and I'm trying to blow it dry it is very tacky and extremely difficult to comb through. Last month it had gotten so damaged from just everyday brushing that much of it broke off. I went for a hair cut hoping to remove some of it and at least get rid of the broken off frizz, but she didn't cut high enough and some of it remains. I now swear that more has happened, but once again only on the bottom section of the top layer. I use good shampoos and have even switched a few times. The only other product I sometimes use is Sun In, but I use that all over usually and only this one section is affected. C
Can anyone help with this????????
THANK YOU!
