I think I can post this on here, 'cause there is no referral bonus or reference or anything. If not appropriate, I apologize in advance.

A friend of mine has had her daughter filling out surveys on this site for just a little while now and she has already earned $15. I just signed my child up and you get $5 credit right away. The site is kidzeyes.com and they read little deals and then answer some questions. Each survey is a specific point amount. the ages are I think, 5-16. (Might end younger--didn't pay much attention since mine is just 6)

Anyway, sort of a fun way for them to get their own souveneir money I thought.

I checked the site out and found that the ages are 6 to 14 (unfortunately for my 15 year old DD who was interested for sure). It looked pretty neat.

my son is doing this and we just sent for his first $15 check.

not sure if we'll have it in time for disney but I'll loan him the $15!!!

he thinks it's fun and I think it's a great way for him to earn some extra money.

KidzEyes is great!

My 10 year old sister has been doing this for a while and has $35 in her account...probably about $70 by the time we go to Disney!

My son and daughter both started doing this a few months ago. One just got a $15 check and the other is saving hers for something big (She's at $20). The only bad thing is when they both don't get surveys at the same time -- one is disappointed, but I explain that they are looking for boy/girl of a specific age for the questions.

Does it take a long time for the kids to earn points, cash out, and get a check? I'm thinking of letting my son do this. ( our trip is during Thanksgiving)

If this is a "legitimate" site.....ie....they are not selling your child's information to other sites????

Most importantly.....does anyone have any "security" fears with allowing your child to use this site.........

PLEASE.........KNOW.....I am not "flaming" this site.....It took ever so long to get to the sign up page....that I felt my entire "data base" was being searched............and no...I am not paranoid by nature......just trying to be cautious...........

In fact.........I think my dd's would really enjoy this...........

Thanks in advance for any input!!!!!

C&R Research is a reputable firm based in Chicago. They say on the privacy page that they will not sell your information and there are no red flags with the BBB, so I decided to trust them.

As far as security, the only possibility of your child communicating with others via this site is that there are some surveys which may involve a chat discussion. They say every one of these will have an adult moderator, but if my child is invited to participate in a chat forum, I will be sitting right alongside her.

I think you always take a small risk in allowing your children to use the internet and this like everything else just needs to be monitored by the parent.

It depends on the age of your child as to how long it takes to get enough points to cash out. My 10 1/2 year old and 6 year old cash out much quicker than their 11 1/2 year old brother. It seems to be secure in that you have to send in a okay as a parent for your children to participate. I usually sit there with them and help them to do them, that way they aren't on the internet alone. My son is so excited he was able to cash out in time for our Disney trip!
