Waving ???

Wow, I couldn't tell the income level of anyone waving or saying Hi and I have no idea what a Pivost, Provost Donna whatever is.

It was just really interesting to have so many people wave, say hi, make small talk. Like I said at the other Disney resorts we've stayed at people are nice, but at FW, everyone seemed in a good mood and all CM always said hello and waved.

The only unhappy person we saw was the lady at the front desk complaining about the 6 small barking dogs next to her site, apparently it wasn't a pet loop.

I don't know if you've seen it, but there is a commercial on tv for boating. It's very similiar. A family waving..and everyone just sort of looks at them as if they are crazy. Then you see them on the water in the boat, another boat passes and they are waving to one another. It's kind of funny. I did find that when we had our boat, boaters were the same as campers...they are both "wavers"!

School bus drivers are wavers too. They wave to each other whenever they encounter another school bus. I used to drive a school bus and really enjoyed the interaction between the bus drivers. Then I would get in my van and forget I wasn't in the bus any longer, wave to a bus driver and have them look at me like I was nuts.....hehe.

I have noticed since owning my Jeep Wrangler that Jeep people wave at other Jeeps. And yes, I do wave at the boats in Bay Lake.

To be honest, you don't see those Prevost owners outside as much as you do the smaller rigs. They are probably too comfortable sitting inside in their climate controlled RV's drinking Dom out of crystal and watching Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous on their 42 inch big screens to come outside. :rotfl:

I drive a Subaru. My husband used to drive a Subaru. We have a Secret Subaru Pact. When pulling into a parking lot, all Subaru drivers seek out other Subaru's and park next to them. :lmao:

Wow! How did you get that picture of the inside of my popup and Who picked up all the kids clothes.

I always wave.

Man that is just freaking gorgeous. What I would do to have something like that!!!

Hey, if you can afford something like that, more power to you, and I could care less if you were inside/outside/waving/saying hello or anything, if you get to live life that way, lucky you!!! :)

I remember seeing the old time footage of people in cars that used to wave at each other as they pasted. good luck with at today. I try to wave and say hi to everyone when I‘m camping.

Is that the inside of an RV???? How much does soemthing like that cost?

Sorry I know nothing about them and have never been in one, maybe I need to go to the next RV show when it comes around.

Finally a pic of the " Pri-vost-madonna " :rolleyes1

I think the pop-up people wave while the Pvm people are too busy looking up......:snooty:

Ok gang......enough. There are probably some very nice Prevost owners right here on the DIS Camping Board!! (Unfortunately, I'm not one of them.....yet) :thumbsup2

They are not waving they are shooing the mosqitos away. j/k

I found that certain niche clubs wave to each other, like they are in on a secret. Jeeps, Corvettes, Boats, Campers, Motorcylcists,Mustangs and I'm sure a few others tend to wave as they pass each other.

We have a corvette and yes we wave to other corvettes. It is like you are all in one big club.
We have a boat and we wave to other boats. That is just something I have been taught since I was a little kid.
We even wave at other Rvers.
I don't think it has anything to do with having a lot of money or not. Some people are just friendlier than others. Some are mad at the world. It is the way it goes. If everyone would be nicer the world would be a better place.

I love the pic of the inside of that RV. WOW! I don't think I would come out much either. Of course I will never have to worry about it cause we will never be able to afford anything like that. I will just be happy to own a Class A someday so we can have a little more room. We have a Class C right now.

I guess big RV's are nice, but I like my hybrid. I go camping to be in the outdoors, not sit inside and watch TV. The hybrid sort of forces everyone out, since it is too small inside to really hang out unless it's raining. If I want a nice place inside to watch a big screen TV, I'll stay home. I also enjoy the challenge of showering in the hybrid, which has become more challenging as I have gotten "larger" (or the shower in the trailer has become smaller).

I don't think people that can afford 1.3 million campers really care about taxes and insurance ;)

Like Donna said, can we go back to not harping on rich people now? :P

And I think Ft. Wilderness guy does have a point, smaller campers have a tendency to probably be outside more, but once again, it depends on the PERSON. You can have a small camper and want to spend all your time inside, and have a large camper and want to spend all your time outside. It just depends on your personality.

When we go with my parents, we have a tendency to stay outside, but my dad spends a lot of time inside. And he's a friendly person ;)

I wonder if Donald Trump has a camper? Would he hang around outside with a beer and his trophy wife with their designer dogs? Would he be happy parked next to me in the 1600 loop? Hey, I wonder if he would use the poopie bags to clean up after his dog? I wonder if he would shower in the comfort stations - I sure would like to see his hair after a shower. I bet he would come over for a Kungaloosh if I asked him nicely. Know what would be cool? If the Donald parked on one side of me and somebody like Bill Gates was on the other side. I bet Bill would have a wireless network I could tap into and check my email. Bill looks like a beer drinker to me, but probably the imported stuff. I could stock up for my next trip, though.

You should know by now that Trumps hair NEVER moves, not even in the shower. I've heard they use it for wind tunnel tests now :P

I think this thread has run it's course...lol

Why can't Donald just accept going bald naturally like you and me, Colson39?

Have I deviated off topic???
