I just bought water shoes to use at TL. I have not worn them for any length of time, but they seem really comfortable. Has anyone ever used watershoes for touring the parks?

I have crocs that I have never worn. I bought them for the whole family a few weeks ago. DH and DD love theirs, but I feel like my feet look 2 feet wide! I was going to take them back until I saw all the recommendations to use them for touring. Now I think I will keep them for Disney, but thought it would be best not to wear the same pair of shoes every day. My other option are my sport sandals, but they are alot heavier.

I haven't worn them, but I am getting some for me this trip, both of my children have them and for like a week my son wanted to wear his alllllll the time because he said they were so comfortable.:goodvibes He's young, but really that's how he decides what shoes to wear!

I wore my watershoes at BB and TL last year and loved them! I didn't have to worry about stubbing my toes on the concrete or rubbing my feet raw on the bottoms of the pools. If you are at all concerned, try them out at a local pool before you go and it will give you an idea how they will work. As long as you are in and out of the water and don't wear them dry for extended periods, you probably won't develop blisters! :thumbsup2 If you are going to wear them in the parks, I would suggest wearing them for a day to test them out before you go, as they are not really designed for normal wear!

Not sure about water shoes for touring the parks, it seems there might not be enough support for a long day of walking. It might just be me with bunions and flat feet, but you should wear them around the house and town for a day or 2 before heading to WDW.

I would also recommend NOT wearing Crocs to a water park. I wore a pair of Croc flip-flops and they got wet outside. My feet were sliding all over the shoe and it was very uncomfortable. Try wetting them down and walking to see if you have the same problem.

All I wear is Watershoes for the most part of the summer . We use them at our SixFlags, Hershey and WDW for all day use.

Now these are not the cheap slip-ons ,they are very good made shoes that are vented and made for just this type of thing.

I have Keens,Northface ,Ecco,Teva's and Solomons.

They are the Best for WDW as it rains a lot and they vent and dry real fast. They have great support as well.

I would try wearing them at home for the day like if going shopping or a nice walk to see how your feet feel in them before relying on them for the Parks.

I just purchased water shoes from Land's End and wore them to a water park nearby (Wildwater Kingdom). Although the shoes are of good quality and fit well, I developed blisters on my heels within a few hours. I think they developed more quickly because the shoe was wet while walking. I'd suggest trying to use yours and break them in first. I wouldn't rely on water shoes for all day touring unless they are the type I'mNoPrince refers to.

I leave for WDW in four days. Hoping my blisters heal by then, but I've purchased a lot of latex free bandages just in case!!!
