Has anyone ever tried a product like what is shown in the link below, and does it actually work? I was thinking about buying a pair for my trip. I don't think I've ever seen anyone with a product like this at WDW.

Nirohee silicone shoe covers

They look pretty great actually! Good for Kali ride too, I don't care if clothes are wet, but my feet? No.

On a rainy day in the past year or so I saw a CM at the resort launch dock at MK wearing some and he highly recommended them. I am thinking about trying them since I only have one pair of my walking sneakers and don't like walking around with wet feet. He also had a cool rain cover for his back pack that he enjoyed telling us about.

My SiL wears ones like that. She’s swears by them. Just a few things to note at least with the ones she got, even though they were textured at the bottom, they still were slippery and they got holes in the bottoms after only a few uses.

I have some with zippers that I've used a few times and I really like being able to keep my feet dry. They've actually held up pretty well but I keep them on for as little time as possible. Not sure if the stares from fellow guests mean "Why is she wearing garbage bags on her feet?" or "Where can my poor, wet dogs get some of those?".

Unless you are doing a lot of walking in standing water, not sure what they accomplish. Times it has suddenly rained while at Disney, we do indoor shopping or find rides where the line is under cover. Seems like one more thing to drag along of limited value once the rain stops.

I usually keep going even when it is raining. I haven't been to Disney since pre-COVID, so I'm not certain I can just run into any counter-service or retail store when the rain starts. I used to sometimes hang out in a store while it was raining, but I'm sure the indoor crowds are now closely controlled.

I have a pair with a zipper to help get them on and off easier, and I wear them over my shoes when I'm walking around our neighborhood on rainy days. Mine have a textured bottom for traction, but they are still pretty slippery and I have to be careful how I walk. They are a little difficult to get on and off at first, and they get pretty dirty, but overall I like them. I have foot/ankle/knee problems that require me to wear a specific kind of shoe, so having rain covers for those shoes makes life much more pleasant than walking around with wet feet.

Thanks everyone! I'm going to buy at least one style, maybe two. I have two trips coming up, so we'll see how they turn out.

I have a pair bought on Amazon. I have worn them to protect shoes getting from one short distance to another. I do not feel they would last long if walking in the parks hours and hours. However, trying water proofing spray on shoes may help. I have done this with running shoes.

How do you keep water from entering through the top? Unless you're wearing long rain pants, I would think your feet would still get wet.

We used to wear show covers when I was a child. IF you can keep rain from running down your leg into your shoes and IF you don't have sweaty feet, more power to you. I would be almost just as wet with them than without due to both the sweat and the rain running down my leg. I either wear wool socks that are still comfortable wet or go with water-proof hiking sandals or, if it's just for a brief downpour or Kali then I'll have cheap flip flops in the park bag. YMMV

Fl resident and letter carrier (walking) here.

Trust me, your feet will feel like they are in a crockpot, wearing those!

I brought down a pair of shoe rubbers for my work shoes when I got here and wore them like twice and never again since! My feet were practically steaming.

I have some super comfy waterproof hiking shoes that I wear for dog walking and in the parks. Maybe consider something like that if you can find some that are comfortable for you.
