Digital, 35 mm, or disposable is fine. I am planning to go to WDW next year, doing both water parks, etc. and am thinking that a waterproof/water resistant camera is the best way to go (probably disposable).

Any recommendations will be useful!

If you want a disposable camera then get the Fuji they sell at Walmart.

I own a Canon D10. They are hard to find. Great camera for underwater, plus they are shock resistant. Bought it for DH and DS when they are kayaking/camping etc. Very happy with it. One of the tips with the camera - if you take it to the beach - when you get home place it in a tin with water overnight to get the salt/sand out of the camera. Love it.

I have a Kodak C123. It is my toy. I just throw it into a pocket and go. The only problem it has a fixed lens with no zoom. Well digital zoom which is basically no zoom. It is 12mp camera that uses normal AA batteries and a standard SD card. The nice part since it is a fixed lens nothing sticks out when the camera is on so even when on you can stick it into your pocket. Plus it is super cheap (less then $60) so no concerns handing it to the kids. If they break it then they do...Also it does not float so Kodak sells an inflatable hand strap. If you drop it, it will sink to the bottom...the reason i get mine in nuclear red... It comes in blue, red and gray. If you order it from Europe you can also get it in Yellow. I does actually take good pictures, i have been very happy with it. I got mine from Amazon plus got the Kodak hard case for it ($3)... No matter what you buy make sure it uses normal batteries and standard SD card. You want to be able to go into walmart and get replacements...

We have a Fuji XP20 that works great. It's an extra camera, water resistant, shock proof, freeze proof. I've got a bunch of pictures that the kids took of each other underwater in the pool at the HHI DVC resort this summer.

It's a super little camera and it's $179 at Target.

I bought this one in July for our WDW trip this summer-took some great photos @ Typhoon Lagoon and Stormalong Bay! I used my regular camera in the parks though as there's a longer delay between photos than I would have liked if I used it all the time. Definitely worth the $64 I paid on Amazon.com!

We just bought the Kodak Playsport zx3 to use for our upcoming cruise. it works great so far!

Does this Kodak shoot videos underwater as well? thinking of getting a 2nd camera for my kids to use!:goodvibes

I have a sony TX5, cost about $279 but it is now my go to camera for every day. It is waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof, has a touch screen, takes amazing pictures and switches to video so quickly and easily with the touch screen. I find I use more than my $500 camera more and more.... love it! It is going to be the only camera I take to WDW with us in November. :cool1:

I have a Fuji XP also. I use it daily. I recently tested it underwater and the shots are pretty clear. I purchased it on sale for $119.00 and it came with it's on floatation armband and carrying case.

I was above water and placed the camera underwater. So it's not exactly the best video lol. The only thing is in video mode it takes a second to record. It takes crisp clear pictures. I plan on using it on our October Disney and DCL trip. Click on the link to play the video.

I also have the Fuji underwater one. We love it!! I have a Canon Rebel and was so paranoid everytime we went to the beach or pool. The Fuji one also takes video above and under water. :goodvibes
