Even though my next trip to Disney isn't until February 2003, I've got a bad case of Disney on the brain. I thought this tip might be helpful for anyone heading to the waterparks with a boo-boo. Cook's Illustrated magazine tested several brands of waterproof bandages. They found 3M brand Nexcare Waterproof Bandages to be the best bet. Cook's Illustrated reported you could find these at your local drugstore for around $3.40 for an assorted box of 30.

If you want to check out the results yourself, you can look in the March/April 2002 issue of Cook's Illustrated (Issue number 55) on page 30.

Hope this helps someone!

My DD had to have stiches on her face last year and I was told to keep the sun off it as much as possible to keep down the scarring. We used those when she went swimming and they stayed on all day. They were great!

Another thing that is great is liquid skin. In '98 DH had a MASSIVE blister on the bottom of his foot (yes, courtesy of WDW walking!). I went to the clinic near Goodings and they told me to use this stuff. It paints on and keeps everything contained. The stuff was wonderful. You can find it where the bandaids are.
