Waterproof backpack?

What have you found to be the best waterproof backpack to use in the parks?

I have an Eddie Bauer.

Took it with us September 2019 and loved it. It folds into its own carrying case. Two side holders for water bottles. Lots of pockets.

We use waterproofing spray... we use it on our shoes ,backpacks when we go hiking.
You can spray it just about anything

I use ALVABABY 2pcs Cloth Diaper Wet Dry Bags Waterproof Reusable with Two Zippered Pockets Travel Beach Pool Daycare Soiled Baby Items Yoga Gym Bag for Swimsuits or Wet Clothes L2933 that I got from Amazon. They are smaller bags that I can toss inside my existing backpack. Before I got these, I just used gallon Ziplok bags, but they didn't last long before getting little holes in them.

Do you really want waterproof or just water resistant. Truly Water proof: backpack by Watershed.
water proof down to 300ft, which is extreme for the parks, lol

I have a Camelback that works well as does my small Osprey.
Had both for many years and have not had to respray them yet.

Spraying with the water resistant spray is a good idea.

Also, the backpacks that come with their own little "rain jacket" where it snugly covers the backpack is great. Im pretty sure you can buy them if it doesn't come with it.

Most backpacks are water-resistant, and that's enough.

Instead of focusing on a waterproof pack, I'd use ziplocks inside the pack to keep things dry. Cheap, also keeps things organized.

I spray mine with waterproofing spray - the kind you use on a tent. And it works fantastic. I also put everything inside into ziplock bags. I've had alot of extremely rainy September trips.
