Which non-Disney waterpark do you think is the best overall? We are currently thinking that we'd like to take our dds 10 and 14 to Aquatica but wanted your opinion. TIA!!!

We've only done the two Disney ones so far. From what I've seen, Wet-n-wild might be the better waterpark in terms of slides, but Aquatica will be a more immersive experience.

Wet n Wild has more thrilling and unique slides,but less theming,atmosphere and lack of shade.Aquatica is pretty new,nicer but in all honestly feels a bit small when compared to the Disney parks.The slide through the pool at Aquatica is good to bring people into the parks but honestly isn't that big a deal.Wet n Wild also offers something that none of the waterparks in the area offer,the knee-ski attraction around their lake,which is like one of my favorites.If you want a nicer environment go to Aquatica,however remember with it being a newer park and not as many slides,the waits for the slides may be longer than at Wet n Wild.If you want a not as nice park but more slides that are more thrilling and possibly less wait time for the slides then choose Wet n Wild.

Thanks for your replies! It looks like Aquatica will be the best for us. Our dds are more into "themeing" than big slides.

Our vote goes to Aquatica as well We visited last month for the first time having only been to the Disney waterparks before and our kids, DS9 & DD13 thought it was far better. Well worth a visit.

I've also been wondering about Aquatica versus BB or TL. We preferred BB over TL, but wondered it we should give Aquatica a try.

I've got young children (5 and 8) and I'm trying to decided which may appeal more as well.
