waterparks???????

Can I have some advice on which waterpark you all prefer?

We prefer Blizzard Beach. We have two kids, DS8 and DD3. We have found the toddler area at Blizzard Beach to be way better than at Typhoon Lagoon. Typhoon Lagoon also seemed dirtier to us. You will end up getting many different answers. We have two water park days scheduled next trip and both are to Blizzard beach.

We have only done Typhoon Lagoon and I was unimpressed. We planned an afternoon there and due to the thunder we had to sit out over an hour (which I understand the safety concern). We went for the snorkeling with the sharks and the water was really cold and my kids got nervous. One of the main attractions (the one you float around the river on rafts) was broken and closed. It just wasn't much fun for us that day.

My DH, DD11, DD8 and I just went to both waterparks a couple of weeks ago. We had fun at both, but the slides are BB were far better than TL. However, we like the wave pool better at TL. Did not go the the kiddie area at either. If we had to choose, it would be BB hands down!

Typhoon Lagoon! We found it much more relaxing than BB. Also, since I do not do speed slides, there were more slides at TL that I would actually ride.

My DS who is 14 LOVED BB better the TL. My DD who is 13 only likes TL because there are things she can do there since she doesn't like the fast slides. I like them both for different reasons. I think it depends on the age of your kids and their level of excitment. I would suggest going to Disneyworld.com and taking a virtual tour of both and reading about some of the things. This trip we are heading to both again.

I like them both. Both are original.
TL has a new water roller coaster that sounds like fun

BB has a pre-teen area called Ski Patrol Training Camp. It has mild slides, a t-bar drop and iceberg walks. My DD11 and DD8 loved this area.
