My DH and 2 DDs would love to go to a water park when we go in September. We have never tried to go to one (out other trips have been in Nov. and Dec.) so are hoping to get to try one out. But. . . will there be things for our DS(2 yrs.) to do and enjoy? And if so, which park, BB or TL, would you experts recommend?

TIA!! :flower:

last year when my ds was 2 we went to BB. they have a fantastic toddler area with slides! a wet area and a pool. he absolutely loved it.

Have to disagree. We liked TL much better when our son was smaller. There's more too do and much more shade.

We've only been to TL. My sons loved the kiddie area. They also played in the sand.

My friend went with us when her daughter was 2. She loved TL and they went 2 days because she loved it so much. They just got back from WDW and this time she is 3 years old and they went to BB. Their daughter loved the kiddie area at BB too.

I've read a lot of different reviews, but it sounds like they both have great kiddie areas!!

TL is a favorite of our family.

We pick a great shaded spot in the sand at the kiddie area. I stay there with the little ones while DH takes the boys on the big rides.

My girls love TL - lots for the littles ones to do.

Hi,

My DH and I brought our 25 month old to TL and she loved it. That may because she wants to take a bath every five minutes. They had a tike area and she loved the lazy river . In fact she crawled up in a ball in the tube and tried to fall asleep. One of our favorite pictures of our DD is at TL :earsgirl: :wizard: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :rolleyes1 Sorry have not been to BB yet! :grouphug: :bounce:

We love blizzard beach! Typhoon Lagoon is definately more shaded, but my kids loved the tikes peak area at BB. My older son and my dh also prefer BB for all the slides. I love the lazy river and the family raft ride at BB much better than the one at TL. The family raft at TL is more of a soaker, going under waterfalls etc... It scared my kids to get that dumped on. I have seen many little ones crying when they got off the TL family raft. The BB family raft is much longer and fun! The best thing is that you can take the chair lift up to the top. What fun!!! At TL you have to carry and roll the big family raft, what a pain!!!

I love the caribbean music and atmosphere much better a blizzard beach. Typhoon lagoon is quieter and more shaded so some people like that better. You can't go wrong at either park. They are both awesome!

I am fo blizzard Beach. They do have a great toddler area with slides. your toddler will love it. My 2 year old niece said that was her most favorite day! yes I do agree it is a pain in the butt to carry the big honkin' raft at Typhoon Lagoon! I hope u have a great time! Safe Travels!
