Waterpark Attendance?

A friend of mine is planning on travelling to Orlando tomorrow and was thinking about hitting one of the water parks. She was wondering how crowded they have been. Having never been to the parks (my kids aren't interested in them yet), I couldn't honestly tell her. I was hoping some DIS members would help her out. Anyone been lately -- like last week? How are the crowds at the water parks? She has three kids -- ages 15, 7, and 2. Which one would be better? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They are crowded. Best advice is to get there when they open. Or wait until after 2.

I perfer Typhoon Lagoon over Blizzard Beach but both have good and bad points and about even.

We just got back a couple of days ago and did both water parks. Honestly I didn't think the crowds were that bad- not as bad as I expected. Both were really fun and we would definitely go again if planning a summer trip. My kids (13,10,4) all agreed TL was their favorite. It has such a nice tropical feel and more shade than BB. But both were great. hth
