Does anyone know what they use to treat the water at the Port Orleans Riverside resort pools? My wife is allergic to bromine so we have to be careful. I emailed Disney on Monday but haven't received a response yet and was hoping someone out there knows.

Also, if anyone knows about chemicals at the disney water parks and water rides at the other parks let me know.

Thanks in advance!

That's an interesting ? We stayed at DL about 2 years ago and my daughter had a reaction (mostly hives) one day at their pool. We stayed at the Boardwalk last year with no problems - didnt even think about it. I wonder if that's what happened to her at Dixie. Hope you get an answer!:smooth:

I can't be positive, but the pool smelled very much of chlorine. I use bromine in my hot tub at home and it smells a little different than chlorine. I would call just to make sure.

For some reason I think I recall reading that the giant pool at Coronado Springs was treated with bromine, unlike the other chlorine-treated pools at the other moderates. I will try to find the reference but I do think the POR pools are chlorinated.
