What is this exactly? Is it a high risk thing? Could DGD7 (who is tiny) play on this with my DD12 and be OK? I can't really get a visual of what it is...

Thanks
Jenn

There was one at the beach at Cozumel we visited on our DCL-offered excursion. It is a large "float" that is anchored to the bottom by three tethers - it's a bit larger in diamter than one of those "above-ground" pools you can get for your backyard (like in Bad Boys II, if you're a fan of those movies!) I took DD5 out on an innertube and she climbed up the ladder by herself and jumped and played there for 20 minutes or so while I floated around the trampoline. She loved it!

If you are talking about the water trampoline at Paradise Beach...I would make sure that the children are wearing life jackets (available with the $5.00 water toy package) Here is a webpage with a picture of it (tiny picture at bottom) Paradise Beach - Cozumel They don't have it or the "iceberg" out if the waves are too rough.

I was actually thinking bikini beach at Orient beach in St. Martin. I'm assumming the trampolines are the same?

The one we used was at Great Bay Beach in Philipsburg and had a slide attached that dumped you in the water. It is not really a high risk, the only thing was it was near shore, but the depth really dropped off under it, so make sure she is a strong swimmer if you are concerned. She will love it along with your DD.
