Water skiing?

Last trip DD and Dh tried parasailing and LOVED IT!!! This time around they would like to try water skiing....Is it ok that they have never done this? Do they give you pointers etc or are you expected to KNOW how to ski already? Both DH and DD are great swimmers (DD is on the swim and diving team). I think they would learn quick. DH has skiied before when he was a kid....a long, long, long, long (hee hee ) time ago. Would this not work for them? Thanks

I would also like to know whether they "teach" you the basics or are you meant to know them before you go.

Done it once before but it was also a long time ago!!
