Water sandals

I've seen some posts about wearing water shoes at the water parks. I am wondering if the rules are similar for water sandals? Between us we have crocs, Keen's, chacos, and Tevas. I don't think any of us has the slip on sneaker type. And we all have flip flops. I am hoping these would be ok at either TL or BB? I would rather not buy new shoes if I don't need to, but if I do, it would obviously be easier to do now in mid summer vs in a month!

Also, do you bring your own towels along or are there some there?

TIA

We've been to BB with teva's and aquasocks ( walmart/target/disney brands). We were allowed to wear it on almost everything except the "bigger" rides like slush gusher and summit plummet. We were told to take off our shoes and hold on to it across our chest. On some of the more moderate rides, I've also seen people wearing flip flops be told to take it off and hold on to it, I can't remember what slides though. Also. if the shoes look unsecured, they will ask you to take them off. But, as always with anything Disney, be prepared for them to change rules and tell you to take it off on all water slides.

I wore my Keene in the water parks. I do not do the body slides so I don't think I ever had to remove my shoes.
