Does Disney offer an additional water recreation package?

Beyond what? Do you already have a package? If so, which one, as some of them do include water recreation....

If you're staying at a resort with a marina, they offer a Family Plan for watercraft (water mice, pontoon boats, sail boats, etc..).

It's $199 for up to 5 boats per family for the length of your stay. We're going to take advantage of it on our coming trip.

Uncle Scar, do you know is there a time limit for the Family plan. I guess what I mean to say is, When u take out a boat are you on the same 1/2 - hr time restriction?

Just a heads up, I called the Polynesian marina today and they aren't doing the packages for the month of July.

We are leaving tomorrow and I will report on what happened when we get back.

Kids were not happy about this

I don't think there is a time limitation, but they may ask you be considerate if there is a waiting list for boats.

I'll check with my contact at the Polynesian concierge because they had advised the package would be available in July. I'll let you know what I hear.

One other tip on the family plan. Your "family" can includes others from another room if you are traveling together. This is what we plan on doing since we are traveling with another family.

Uncle Scar I was told the same thing by concierge.

When I called the marina last week I was told these are specials and that they can discontinue them at any time. There was a managers meeting last Thurs. and that's why I called back yesterday to see what they had decided about the plans. I do know they had them last year at this time but maybe with the FTP they are expecting a full house.

As with all things Disney things are subject to change at a moments notice so hopefully we will get lucky!!

I just got off with Concierge and they said I now need to check the week I get in. Things are changing around, which is what you've found out too.

I hope it's going when I get there, the boys love the boats. Guess I shouldn't have told them about it ahead of time.

We will be at WL in Sept and are traveling with another couple and their baby. Do they offer the water package for the length of the stay? How exactly does it work. Someone who has purchased it before could maybe share the procedures with us curious folk.
