Water Parks: water shoes yes or no

Do you recommend water shoes for the water parks. This trip I plan on going to TL with my DD (6). I haven't been to a water park in probably 25 years... we have never taken DD to one. It will be the 1st week of June so hot. I am debating whether to buy water shoes. I have sensitive feet and in general DD is picky about what she wears. I don't want to waste money to buy water shoes that we end up barely wearing anyway. Do you typically wear them to water parks or not. If so what brand do you recommend.

I bought the speedo ones for my kids at target, they fit great, and they always wear them to the water parks.

I would. You can't wear flip flops on the attractions, and I would NEVER walk barefoot in any public place. Not just for safety, but that's really gross. Even if you only wear them that one day-totally worth it!

You NEED water shoes for two reasons - One, sanitary reasons, it's just so gross to walk around without them, especially in the bathrooms. Two, it gets VERY hot and you really need the protection for your feet. There are so many kinds and they 'all' seem to work fine.

If you have sensitive feet and want more support you can get water shoes from Lands End.
