I just purchased my daughter a housing for her canon digital camera and she is looking forward to carrying it around with her through the waterparks. Do you know if they allow you to carry them on the slides?

My inclination would be no as it would be a safety hazard. When you go down one of those slides, you are not in control of anything. Even if she had a strap around her shoulder, it would become a dangerous missile if it came loose.

I know they were using them on most slides a few weeks ago .Even video cams on the family raft rides and nothing said.

I had Keens on and slides that didn't have an innertube they asked me to remove my shoes and just hold them so I don't see why a camera would be any different.

If enforced properly there are no loose articles allowed on the slides, with the exception being the body slides where you have to take off your shoes/hat glasses. if your dd really wants to take her camera, I would recomend a small hip pack (not considered a loose article). If she wants to ride the body slides she just has to hold the pack in her hands like she would do with her shoes.
