Suggestions as to how much time we should expect to spend at each park? We are going week of Labor Day. What are crowds like at Water Parks during that week? I would expect the Sunday-Monday to be the worst with locals, so planning to go to one on Tues and one on Thurs... DS is 2 1/2 and DD is 8.. Probably going to book CSR and take advantage of Free Dining (yeah!)... suggestions/comments..... :rolleyes2 :yay:

Do your kids like thrill rides? BB is, from what i hear made of mostly big slides for big adventurers. We went to TL last year and stayed until it closed. Then when it came time to go to the MK on our last day my kids begged to go back to TL instead. :confused3 They have a nice selection of slides for thrill seekers (DS10) and chickens(DD6) and also a very nicely themed kids area.

We enjoy TL more and if it isn't busy we can spend most of the day there. Usually by 3 we have done everything wanted a few times and are ready to leave.

We did both TL and BB last trip in July 05 and we liked both. In fact we will be there the same week as you and we plan to do both water parks again. We liked different things about each park, but my kids all liked BB best. Kids were 9, 8, 4, and 6 months last trip. TL did have a very relaxing atmosphere, but 2 big pluses for BB was the kid area that dd4 could navigate by hereself while I waited at the bottom with the baby. This was much easier than at TL where I had to follow her all over the place holding the baby and dd4 never seemed to end up where I thought she would. Other plus for BB was the family raft ride - just awesome!

I believe that BB is the best waterpark in every way. The kids section at BB is soooooo much better than TL. It is huge and it is designed in a way that it is easier to watch the kids than TL. There is also an intermediate sized area that your 8 yr. old would love. There are a few two person tube ride at BB. TL would be great if I had not been to BB first. The themeing is incredible and it is by far our favorite WDW park.

I would say BB. However, I will be going to both water parks on our trip just to get best of both worlds. I went to the world last year labor day week and I'm doing the exact same days this year. September 5-13th and we also just so happen to be staying at CSR (see you there!) Anyways... as far as the crowds go...they don't!! We never needed fastpass, never a wait the whole time we were there last year.

We love both! We couldn't decide which one to do this year, so we flipped a coin. Doing TL this time! :teeth:
