Do both water parks have wave pools?

From memory no they dont.

Only Typhoon Lagoon has a wave pool, A very large one at that.

Thanks. DS9 was wondering. I just don't want him to be disappointed if not. I found the surf pool, is that the same as the wave pool?

Sorry for the silly questions, but he will be one not doing slides, so I want to let him know what I think he will want to do. He loves the wave pool idea and the lazy rivers.....

I've only been to Typhoon Lagoon, but that does have a wave pool AND the laxy river, also the swimming with sharks that my DD wanted to try.

Hello!

We were at Blizzard Beach in February. The large pool there has waves, but they are gentle ones. I haven't been to Typhoon Lagoon, but from what I've read, the waves in the wave pool there are as large as six feet.

Both water parks have wave pool and are quite large. TL has larger waves.

Also, is there an age/height requirement on the Shark swim? I can't believe he is interested in this.

He's 9, but tall 5'2". He is a fairly strong swimmer. If he is old enough, I am thinking about getting him a mask and snorkel so he can get in some practice in the next 6 months in the back yard pool.

Bump! Any help on the age requirement for Shark swimming? I can't find it at the Disney website, unless I am just missing something.
