We are heading down for a quick five day semi-budget trip. We were planning on doing primarily water parks and buying the annual water park pass, but now are toying with the idea of Legoland (we have a deal for about $100 for our family of 4 if we go on a Monday or Tuesday...but we have MNSSHP on Tuesday night and want to get in right at 4....and the kids are just about aged out but wanting to go back to Legoland.) If we do Legoland, our only two full days at the water parks will be on Saturday and Sunday, September 29th and 30th. We know that locals often go to the water parks on weekends. So how crowded should we expect it to be? I was really looking forward to relaxing days at an uncrowded water park, sitting on the lazy river without worrying about the time, but now with only having our full days on the weekend I am unsure. We will have about 3 hours Tuesday if we want to go before MNSSHP and maybe 2hrs before we have to leave on Wednesday.
We went to the water parks last year at the same time, but only went during the week and the crowd level was perfect. We don’t have the extra money to rent a cabana or anything, so that is not an option. So how crazy should we expect the water parks to be?
