We have always been in September. How are the waterparks in October? Has it gotten noticably colder?

Is one of the waterparks colder than the other? (Theming at Blizzard Beach, aside)

We have done BB before, but have not gotten to do TL yet.

Any input?

Dear KHuntress ,
I have been to both waterparks in Octs. past and have never noticed a difference in temps between BB and TL . Oct. weather can be a little cool but we have never experienced a day when the high temp. was below 80 .
Crowds can be a concern when temps are hotter than normal , especially Sat. and Sun. . If you can only go under these conditions go early because by mid day park will get very crowded . Another option we like is to get there 2 hours before closing because crowds quickly begin thinning out and lines magically disappear .
Hope this helps .

Thanks, Captain America, for you answer -- and for your personal sacrifices!

Perhaps being a New Yorker, you all are used to it being cooler. Normally, being a Texan has advantages at WDW (the heat almost never gets to us) but we are used to swimming in really warm pools. Our waterparks in the Dallas area close after Labor Day, albeit too early in my mind.

We were fine in September, and I'll bet we'll enjoy October as well.

Thanks!
